Lol not the same thing, Hope is an elected official and not a govt appointee. There's no law anywhere that stated that he must resign his current elected position to contest another election, we have Govs who contest senatorial elections but didn't resign.
If political appointees are required by law to relinquish their positions before contesting elective office, then I largely believe Hope Uzodimma should have relinquished his position as Governor of Imo State, sworn in his deputy before the APC senatorial primaries that held in May 2026. I mean that should be basic logic for consistency in our laws.

Seyi Tinubu was asking AI to list Tinubu's achievements to the former finance minister. He acknowledged that his father has failed so badly that they now depend on AI to tell Nigerians what he has achieved.

Even though I've been asked by Pastor Paul Enenche not to campaign here, I already told him some weeks ago at the Idoma Hall of Fame event that I was coming to use it as an opportunity...even in the Church when he preaches, he talks about bad governance. That is politics. So, commissioning a project like this is not something we'll just come and thank God and go. No, it's not going to work.

Information reaching me indicates that one of our own, fellow El-Rufaist @IU_Wakilii, has reportedly been arrested.
When are we going to outgrow this culture of intimidation? Nobody should be subjected to intimidation for their views or political association.
We demand transparency, respect for his fundamental rights, and his immediate release if there is no lawful basis for his continued detention. Justice and due process must prevail. 💯
You can hate Wike and his style of politics which is within your right to do so, but you can't deny the fact that Wike is working in FCT and has done tremendously well especially for the rural communities.
What exactly were the past FCT Ministers doing in Abuja all these years? They achieved very little. It is ironic that some people opposed Wike’s nomination as FCT Minister simply because he is a Southerner. This is clear example of how blind tribal politics hinders the development of this country.
This road project was awarded in 2011 under the Jonathan administration, a stretch of less than 15 km meant to ease traffic in the Karu and Maraba axis. For over 13 years, they couldn’t deliver this small road! Same story with so many important roads in the outskirts and suburbs Abuja. Damn!

Court Orders Uzodinma to Stop Parading Himself as APC Candidate, Recognizes Former Governor Rochas Okorocha for Imo West Senatorial District
Justice Obiora Egwuatu of the Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday ordered Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma to immediately stop presenting himself as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Imo West Senatorial District election scheduled for January 16, 2027.
Delivering judgment, the court held that Uzodinma did not win the May 18, 2026 APC primary election, which was conducted by the party and monitored by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The judge said that evidence before the court showed that former Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha secured the majority of votes cast and should be declared the winner.
The judge subsequently ordered the APC to forward Okorocha’s name as its candidate for the 2027 general elections in the Imo West Senatorial District.
These same set of people were all over the internet saying the FG is funding the Ogun State seaport.
FG does not fund the project, funding is by the private sector, plus SEDC and the SE State governments,
Reason why some of you guys behave this way is what I don't understand,
