Those who constantly harp on about the Nazis burning books they disliked keep insisting that Oldspeak must not stock titles they dislike, simply because the books are not sufficiently pro-jewish.
The principle is the same: The demand that literature conform to an approved view is the enemy of free thought. A bookshop exists to sell books, not to pass some weird loyalty test to Israel.
I will continue to sell what I choose. That is the entire point of free speech.

FUCKING HELL ANDY, YOU ABSOLUTE VISIONARY!!
People are struggling to afford petrol, families are watching every penny, and filling your car up now requires a small mortgage and a letter of permission from your bank manager. But fear not, ladies and gentlemen, because Andy Burnham has come riding over the horizon like a financially responsible Batman. His master plan?! GOOGLE FUCKING MAPS !! That’s right. Not cheaper fuel. Not a reduction in fuel duty. Not anything that actually makes the bastard stuff more affordable. No. He’s proudly announcing that we can now look at a little map and see WHICH petrol station is going to financially bum us the gentlest. GROUNDBREAKING STUFF THIS !! And the best bit? Google Maps has been showing fuel prices in various places for YEARS. So he’s effectively stood up, puffed his chest out and announced the invention of something that’s already bloody existed. What’s next, Andy?! A revolutionary new device that tells us when it’s raining? A calculator to help us discover we’re fucking skint? Perhaps a mirror so we can watch ourselves ageing while waiting for politicians to do something useful? I don’t need a map to tell me petrol is expensive, Andy. I’ve got a fucking bank account!
At this rate, next week’s big announcement will be that he’s discovered you can save money on your electricity bill by TURNING THE FUCKING LIGHTS OFF. Honestly, we’ve got people running this country who’d turn up to a house fire, hand you a thermometer and congratulate themselves for helping you understand the temperature.
ABSOLUTE FUCKING GENIUS!! Fuck my life !

We now live in a country that gives a man two years in prison for throwing a plastic water bottle and swearing at police,
And gives a migrant Deliveroo driver that brutally raped a pregnant woman causing a miscarriage to 12 MONTHS in prison.

Lidl has started adding PEA PROTEIN to beef mince… and calling it “High Protein Beef Mince.”
No, seriously. Apparently beef wasn’t protein enough.
This new range landed in Lidl stores across Britain on 18 September. It mixes British meat with plant based pea protein, and Lidl says the products contain at least 20% more protein than their traditional versions.
Lidl has committed to increasing plant based protein to 25% of the protein it sells by 2030. And Lidl itself says this new hybrid meat range helps bring its “Planetary Health Diet commitments” onto supermarket shelves.
So we’re taking beef, one of the most naturally protein rich foods humans eat, mixing pea protein into it, then putting a massive HIGH PROTEIN label on the front as though we’ve somehow improved meat.
That’s quite a marketing trick.
If I pick up a packet labelled BEEF MINCE, I want beef mince.
Not beef mince quietly helping a supermarket hit its plant protein targets.
How long before finding a packet containing just beef becomes the premium option?

Warwickshire County Council’s own payment files show £11.76m paid to Sandeep Cabs for taking children and young people to school and college between 16 January 2023 and 29 April 2026.
This is the council transport system used by eligible pupils, including children with SEND.
The files contain 5,297 payment rows. They combine SEND and mainstream journeys, so they do not show how much of that published total was specifically for SEND transport.
After an FOI request, WCC confirmed that the legal payee was SANDEEP CABS LIMITED. Its latest accounts report an average of seven employees, including directors.
WCC also disclosed 247 distinct contract references worth £4.31m in 2025/26 alone.
It says its current contracts with the company were awarded through its taxi and private-hire purchasing system. Asked which corporate subcontractors or delivery operators were recorded against those contracts, it answered: “N/A”.
That does not mean only seven people delivered the work. The accounts figure is not a count of drivers or vehicles, and self-employed drivers or other non-corporate arrangements may have been involved.
But the scale deserves a clear public explanation: how did WCC assess operating capacity, safeguarding and value for money across this volume of school and college transport work?
No independently attributable company website, email address or social-media account surfaced in our searches. WCC’s public operator directory lists only a mobile number.
That is a remarkably limited public footprint for a company linked to £11.76m in published school and college transport payments.

Why is a Level 2 and 3 plumbing course free in the UK for an asylum seeker and some migrants, but not for me, who is English 🏴 and born here?
I am a 27-year-old British bloke who already has Level 1 plumbing and just wants to finish Levels 2 and 3 so I can work the trade and leave my Production Operative role for a real career.
Cost to me: £4,000–£6,000.
The same courses are free if you have refugee status here, free for an asylum seeker who has been here 6 months waiting on a decision, or refused and appealing for 6 months.
Also free immediately for several other statuses and if you are on a low income it seems.
Why is this country backwards? 🇬🇧
I'm 27 years old.
I'm considering going back to college to finish my plumbing levels.
I already have Level 1 under my belt and need to complete Levels 2 and 3.
Total cost for both levels will be around £4,000–£6,000 for me as a British citizen wanting to better their life and go back into a trade.
Now check who gets some courses for free.

Because of the triple lock, the state pension is set to rise by roughly £488 next year.
Our pensioners absolutely deserve security, and Restore Britain will deliver that, but we also need to be honest about who is now largely funding it.
Younger workers are already facing outrageously high taxes, enormous housing costs and the challenge of saving for their own retirement - yet the triple lock can push pensions up faster than prices, leaving a younger generation of workers with an ever-growing burden.
It’s just not fair.
These are our children and our grandchildren.
Personally, I do not believe they should shoulder the costs of our generation’s selfish and destructive approach to the economy - leaving vast national debt as our inheritance is a shameful legacy for us. It just is.
When I launched Restore Britain as a party, I said we would take the difficult decisions needed to deliver a better Britain for those who come after us. I meant it.
So we will replace the triple lock.
Restore Britain will secure the state pension by linking it to CPI, protecting pensioners' purchasing power.
No other serious political party has the courage to do this.
Restore Britain will not attempt to buy votes today with money tomorrow's workers will have to earn.
Young people deserve a fair deal too. Unbelievable for a party leader to say, I know.
Our economy is broken, almost beyond repair - everybody is going to have to pay the price to drag our country out of the very deep hole it is currently in. I mean, everybody.
That includes replacing the Triple Lock, alongside a vast range of other cuts to the size of the state. Millions of freeloading foreign nationals will be deported, the asylum system abolished, and foreign aid reduced to almost nothing.
But we all have to shoulder the burden, sadly.
Everybody is going to have to pay to fix the mistakes of my generation.
