Why does the early bird get the worm, but all good things come to those who wait? Why do opposites attract, but birds of a feather flock together? Why does absence make the heart grow fonder, but out of sight means out of mind? Why should we look before we leap, but he who hesitates is lost? Why is honesty the best policy, but ignorance is bliss? Why do actions speak louder than words, but the pen is mightier than the sword? Why do we teach children to question everything, then call it disrespect when they question authority? Why do we celebrate individuality but reward conformity? Why do we say people can change, then insist a leopard can't change its spots? Why is silence golden, but the squeaky wheel gets the grease? Why do we say never judge a book by its cover, but first impressions are everything? And why the hell did Cinderella lose a shoe that supposedly fit perfectly? Here's my real question... Are these contradictions evidence of wisdom, or have we spent generations repeating convenient little sayings that justify whichever decision we've already made? Maybe we don't actually live by principles. Maybe we just pick the proverb that agrees with us.

They exposed a potential vulnerability in your election system, and your response is felony charges? If their actions were intended to demonstrate how easily the system could be exploited, why isn't the vulnerability itself receiving just as much attention? Election integrity isn't about protecting officials from embarrassment. It's about protecting the public from fraud. And if your office is more interested in prosecuting those who expose weaknesses than investigating the weaknesses themselves, perhaps federal oversight is warranted. Accountability should begin with the system, not end with the whistleblower.
James Edward O’Keefe, 42, and Cam Higby, 26, both face felony charges of unlawful voting and identity theft. Polling places are the heart of our democracy. Any attempt to disrupt or deceive our election workers will not be tolerated. Watch: youtube.com/watch?v=c_oqgTcY…

A @TPUSA rep says that I should have made my domestic violence abuser a sandwich. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Joe isn't wrong. His administration has made meaningful strides in Nevada's education system, and those efforts deserve recognition, regardless of political affiliation. When political disagreements take priority over educational progress, it's not the politicians who pay the price. It's our children. They deserve better.
Education has always been my top priority as your Governor. We have made tremendous progress in our first term, and we’ll hit the ground running next legislative session with clear priorities to continue improving student outcomes and expanding school choice. We have more work to do, and I’m ready to build on our progress and deliver lasting results for Nevada students and families.
