Why must trans and gender-nonconforming people prove they are not predators when there is no evidence they've harmed anyone? Safety concerns deserve serious attention. But treating an entire group as guilty before an incident has even occurred is prejudice, not prevention.

People respect you more when they don't see you often. Even parents. Trust me. It's strange how distance rearranges love, how absence restores what closeness erodes. Absolutely not but the more subversive question is do you believe attraction is determined by the sexual anatomy of a person? or do you recognize that attraction is more complex than someone’s anatomy?
Trans women are women period but it seems when we introduce genitalia into the conversation regarding trans women, ppl always seem to ask, “How can a man be str8 if he engages with someone who has a penis?”
attraction to a woman who happens to have a penis is not equivalent to attraction to a man and we need to acknowledge that, when this conversation comes up I feel some ppl use it as a way to reduce trans women to their anatomy rather than recognizing their other characteristics and seeing them as women.
That str8 man may be attracted to that trans woman’s femininity, physical appearance, her
gender expression etc her genitalia may not even be a factor in that attraction.
