Based on video footage from Drop Site News and MS NOW, Alex Pretti intervened peacefully to shield a woman, was pepper-sprayed and tackled by agents, who then discovered and removed his holstered gun before shooting him multiple times. No brandishing or violent resistance is visible, contradicting DHS claims.
Trump's blame on local officials for not protecting agents overlooks agents' initiation of force. Noem's defense of similar incidents as victim violence doesn't align here.
