Here's my rebuttal to my favorite attempt at a point today. "From 2014–2024, all levels of Canadian government spent roughly $250,000 per Canadian, per capita. Canadians still ask for better healthcare, housing and roads. Are we all mismanaging handouts?"
Replying to @NAFOmememaker
Since 2014, FN bands across the country have received over $240B in funding. Per 1.1M first Nations citizens, that amounts to over $218,000 per citizen. The only reason they are still "vulnerable" is because of improper use of funds. They've received enough money.

I'd rather have the trial broadcast. Then after the trial we can have an enquiry on how it happened and how to prevent it.
Public inquiry. Now.

Well, this attracted exactly who I expected it would. Lol.
Canadian homeowners have had access to $55,600 since 2015. But sure, let's cry about some of our most vulnerable getting a hand up....

There are 634 First Nations in Canada with a combined total of 1.1 million people. He just gave every First Nation $3.94 million. Or the equivalent of $2,272.72 per person. For emergency preparedness for climate change. I think I need to prepare for climate change emergencies too.

About time
Here we go: Fraud, breach of trust and money laundering inside the GOA! Those are the criminal offences now confirmed to be under investigation by the RCMP in connection with procurement practices at Alberta Health and AHS. This isn’t speculation. It’s in writing, from a Crown prosecutor, in a letter filed with the Alberta courts. For nearly two years, the UCP government has tried to distract and avoid accountability but they can’t hide forever. I raised concerns about these contracting practices, and Albertans deserve answers. The government can continue to deflect and deny, but it cannot avoid a criminal investigation. Accountability will come calling. #ableg #abpoli #cdnpoli #ucp #alberta #rcmp #accountability

Canada’s Ring of Fire is a strategic national asset: rich in critical minerals essential for batteries, clean technology, defence and advanced manufacturing. Developing it responsibly means jobs for Indigenous communities, stronger supply chains and less dependence on China.
Canada has the critical minerals the world needs. We’re matching Ontario’s $1 billion investment to build road infrastructure to reach the Ring of Fire. To unlock our critical minerals supply chain. To create up to 70,000 jobs.

I love his humor. I woud love to have coffee with him.
Abolish the Indian Act. We have nothing to lose but our chains. We will, of course, need new legislation that is an interface between the Federal government and First Nations. And this MUST be created alongside Chiefs and First Nation governments every step of the way. But it is time to move past the era of this outdated, racist, and patriarchal legislation. I support Prime Minister Carney’s work to position Canada as a global leader in human rights and democracy. The Indian Act is inconsistent with achieving that vision. Our laws at home should reflect the values we champion around the world. It’s time for a relationship with First Nations people that reflects who we are as Canadians today, recognizes nationhood, and lives up to the true nature of reconciliation.

Did Putin accidentally destroy his army? Russians tend to down play losses and flex supposed strengths. Are the diesel oligarchs selling what is left of the Russian diesel stock to pad their pockets leaving the military with nothing? #Fellas did Trump accidentally ruin Russia?

🧵A Russian governor accused Ukraine of "particular cynicism" for bombing an Iskander missile plant at 6 PM because workers were heading home. If a ballistic missile factory is off-limits when the shift ends, Russia expects total war to keep office hours. 1/🧵

Why? Carney is a conservative. Smith loves him. 70% of Canadians love him. The only people who don't are the people paid to support PP.
Ottawa needs to be careful, very careful.

"Local regard still thinks Trudeau is Prime Minister. More at 11"
No more excuses now. BC Alberta and Saskatchewan need to tell Ottawa to collectively go F itself. Ignore all anti O&G laws and tanker bans. Green light every pipeline everywhere and let the assholes in Ottawa try and litigate their way into a fight with the West. Firewall the F out of them like you promised. Anything less just proves you’ve been full of shit this entire time.
