The Windzen Legend is deep underground...
Join Patricia's dive into the Ruins beneath Yasmar Island. Power up the Gatler Gun and descend floor by floor, fighting the haunting and dangerous Balkin Machines.
Give the demo a try and tell me what you think!

"How did this happen?"
It's a mystery
Awesome. The version on Steam sucks. Bring on the native ports, and let players who love the game fix it right up.

I assume I'm going to get blocked, and my reply hidden, for calling out a convention panel scam that was pulled by political activists, so here's a screengrab for future reference.
Nothing about Asveeti, never heard of her, it's about Youmacon.

So it turns out that-

> 'Gamers' very much have to be your audience.
Denounce gamers while working in their industry at your own risk.
Don’t Nod, the studio behind the original Life is Strange, is collapsing.
The French developer is facing a near-total layoff, up to 85 jobs, which would leave its French teams with only a small number of employees.
The studio has struggled with a string of underperforming releases, the most recently the sci-fi adventure Aphelion.
Don’t Nod has warned that it may not have enough funding to continue operating beyond January 31, 2027, and has entered a French “safeguard” procedure to restructure its finances.

My brother loved Jenny's channel. I used to hear her videos from his phone all the time. Then she jumped onto the 'if you don't like new thing you're a racistsexistbiggotphobe', and I never heard her voice again outside of very occasional revisits to her older material.
*and they didn't stop cheaters because anti-cheat doesn't do that
*and it's still malware tracking your every move below your OS, that has no reason to remove itself when you ask
Helldivers 2 is getting review-bombed on Steam after Arrowhead switched to Easy Anti-Cheat.
The new anti-cheat is meant to stop mods that give players unfair advantages, but it has also broken mods that players used for fixes, custom content and quality-of-life features.
The backlash turned Steam reviews in mostly negative and players accusing Arrowhead of breaking things that the community used to work around long-standing bugs.
Now EAC is also blocking some PC players from launching the game at all.
Looking forward to mine arriving.
Had to make sure nightdive demons weren't involved first, then I managed to nab one before they sold out. This will be my first Evercade machine.
It will be nice to owning a genuine Doom collection!
Too slow. I already fixed every problem with Dead Space Remake on the day it launched, by just playing the original.
Imagine paying for unnecessary soulless remakes of perfectly playable modern masterpieces.
Dead Space Remake’s infamous PC traversal stutters may finally have a real fix.
A new community mod called Ishimura Patch targets the way the game’s Frostbite engine handles GPU memory allocations, instead of relying on workarounds like slowing down asset streaming.
In Wccftech’s testing on an RTX 4090 + i7-14700K:
Average FPS: 292.8 → 305.3 (+4.3%)
1% lows: 83.9 → 157.6 (+87.8%)
0.1% lows: 35.7 → 98.6 (+176.2%)
The worst spike dropped from around 45ms to about 14ms

This attitude has only grown. Games holding on to deep traditions, or that old-school carefree nature, are still treated this way online.
"Bright uniform required, dull personality essential" is exactly what's said about any game where the women aren't in burqas, for instance.
Happy Anniversary, Panel de Pon.
The game is incredible, and it deserved better.
Replacing the cast of fairies with Yoshi, and tacking on the "Tetris" title, in the overseas version is deeply regrettable. I wish Nintendo had held faith in Panel de Pon's charming world and cast.

It always fascinating when corpo-bloggers and normies see a big number like "3.3 million" and just assume that this means the game in question was not only successful, but a smash runaway hit. Three million copies doesn't even approach profitability for these bloated productions.
I think it's funny that it's 100% okay to dump on EA over having made terrible games for decades, but not okay for absolutely any other studio, or else you're a toxic evil ungrateful entitled manbaby chud incel who hates women and wants to cage minorities, etc..
Drone mindset.

This is getting so performative.

Knock it off. This doesn’t affect the human creativity involved with making the original KI:U.

Called it. Only room for one or two. The rest vanish quick.
Anthropic has officially filed to go public.
The AI company has filed its S-1 with US regulators and plans to list on Nasdaq under the ticker ANT.
The filing says its founders will retain 50.1% of the voting power through a founders’ company. Anthropic also reported an $80.7 billion loss in the first half of 2026, according to CNBC.
The IPO could value Anthropic at around $2 trillion, with trading potentially starting in mid-November.
