It's clear, or one of the reasons is because they're not allowed to vote — I think that is the most American thing to do, is to say that everybody who lives here, who cares about this community, has a voice. And by allowing noncitizen residents — to be able to participate in our government makes our city safer, makes our city more vibrant, and makes our communities stronger” They don’t have a voice BECAUSE THEY AREN’T SUPPOSED TO BE HERE Notice she specially said undocumented. Meaning they are not just noncitizens, they are people without status. They do not have a green card, they are not here on a Visa. Undocumented means ILLEGAL A council member literally just admitted 1/3 of her city is ILLEGAL Luckily the legislation to allow the noncitizens to vote was rejected by residents Deport them all.
