Like millions across the globe, the NSoA are deeply shocked and saddened by the tragic loss of George Floyd. We acknowledge that the UK is not innocent and stand with and support the #BLM movement. (1/5)

🚨 Could you support yourself, let alone your family, on £15,704 per year?
Apprentices deserve a wage to take care of themselves and their responsibilities.
📣 Know your rights, join a union and sign the petition by @NSoApprentices to take a stand against poverty pay.
Not really every worker though is it?
850,000 apprentices are excluded from the Real Living Wage. We believe in a real living wage. For everyone.
Over 100,000 apprentices are paid just £7.55 an hour, 60% of the living wage.
A just economy is one where every worker is paid enough to cover life's living costs - at the very minimum. But people on the new UK Gov legal wage rates from the start of this month, will still earn £760 less per year than those on the real #LivingWage.

£6.40 is not enough to live on.
We believe every worker should receive a Real Living Wage and apprentices are workers too.
That's why we support @NUSScotland and @NSoApprentices' call for a Real Living Wage for apprentices.

We’re rallying because students & apprentices are being treated as an afterthought in the housing bill and risk being left out in the cold.
Join us outside the Scottish Parliament this Thursday 14th at 1pm to demand that student renters get a fair deal!

Few things get me more wound up than bureaucracy holding back progress. This wouldn’t be accepted for students, and shouldn’t be for apprentices either.
We investigate how fears of cash clawbacks have been putting providers off from claiming for vital funding to support apprentices with learning needs
