Speaking of voting I remember going to go vote for Obama at the crack of dawn the first time he ran. I think that voting turnout was historic.

I didn’t even know such a collection existed and I love Macallan. I just know your HOA consists of women sitting with chihuahuas in their purses driving G wagons to their kids soccer games.
Tonight I was introduced to the Macallan James Bond Collection and wow.

Owen, great footballer in his prime but this move was as snake as it gets. Unforgivable from a Liverpool perspective
πŸ”΄ Sir Alex Ferguson took a chance on Michael Owen in the summer of 2009. Two years later, Owen had a Premier League winner's medal and one of the most memorable goals in Manchester derby history. It was a transfer nobody really expected. Owen had spent eight years at Liverpool, winning the FA Cup, UEFA Cup and League Cup in 2001. He had also won the Ballon d'Or that same year, becoming one of the most recognisable English forwards of his generation. After leaving Anfield in 2004, his career took him to Real Madrid and then Newcastle United. But injuries had started to interrupt his football, and by the summer of 2009, Newcastle had been relegated. His contract expired. Then Ferguson made his move. Manchester United signed Owen on a free transfer on 3 July 2009, giving him a two-year contract. Ferguson publicly backed the striker, describing him as a world-class forward with a proven goalscoring record. Owen later explained that the opportunity came out of the blue. Ferguson invited him for breakfast, made his intentions clear, and Owen accepted. His first competitive appearance came in the Community Shield against Chelsea. United lost on penalties, but Owen was now part of a squad containing Wayne Rooney, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Cristiano Ronaldo's replacement, Antonio Valencia. And then came 20 September 2009. Manchester City arrived at Old Trafford for a derby that would become one of the most talked-about Premier League matches ever played. United led three times, but City kept coming back. Craig Bellamy's second goal made it 3-3 in the 90th minute. Ferguson sent Owen on as a substitute. Deep into stoppage time, Ryan Giggs found him with a perfectly weighted pass. Owen took one touch and calmly rolled the ball beyond Shay Given. Old Trafford erupted. The clock showed 90 minutes and 36 seconds. United had won 4-3. It became one of the defining moments of Owen's time at Manchester United. He later described the derby winner as the highlight of his career. He wasn't a regular starter, but he still had useful contributions to make. Owen scored nine goals in all competitions during his first season, including important strikes in cup competitions. In 2010/11, he scored five more goals and was part of the United squad that won the Premier League title. It was his first league championship. His final season was interrupted by injuries, and he made just four appearances in all competitions during 2011/12. At the end of the campaign, United announced that he would leave when his contract expired. His final record at Old Trafford was 52 appearances and 17 goals. For a player who had once been Liverpool's teenage sensation, wearing a Manchester United shirt was always going to attract attention. But Ferguson gave him an opportunity when many wondered whether his best years were already behind him. And Owen gave United something supporters will never forget: one last-minute goal against Manchester City that still gets talked about years later. Michael Owen. 52 appearances, 17 goals, a Premier League title, and one unforgettable derby winner.

He’s gonna run again in 2028
🚨 WOW. Gov. Ron DeSantis is GOING OFF right now post-blue tsunami: "I see the ad, 'so and so voted against releasing the Epstein Files.' I'm like, that's a bad vote. We ran as Republicans saying we need to do that. And you have people in Congress voting against release when the Attorney General said she had all the all this horrific stuff on her desk and that people are gonna be held accountable?!" "It's untenable when you have people going in trading stocks! I've never traded stocks since I've been in elected office. How do you have no investment acumen, and then all of a sudden get elected to Congress, and then you're outperforming Warren Buffett?" "I saw how they were running and it was a rejection of what was going on in DC."
