For weeks I’ve been hearing stories of Virginians getting to vote for the first time, after Va’s Jim Crow disenfranchisement law was mostly struck down.
It’s justice—and poetic justice—that they’ll help end it for good by passing the Right to Vote constitutional amendment today.
A federal judge has ordered Virginia to restore the voting rights of thousands of people who were illegally barred from voting under the 1870 Virginia Readmission Act, the law that readmitted Virginia into the United States.

Kalshi isn’t a statistics site. It’s a prediction/gambling market. Betting odds are not a statistical metric. The percentage of people betting on an outcome has no bearing on the statistical likelihood of that outcome occurring.
