Simply not good enough. He has only publicly disavowed the Muslim Brotherhood five times. Unless he continues to disavow them daily I don't see how anyone can take him seriously.
.@AbdulElSayed “clearly disavows” the Muslim Brotherhood to me after his appearance at the Detroit Economic Club when I asked about his response to the viral clip of “Tommy” the voter asking him to do the same @NEWSMAX
does Israel think statements like this are good PR
This was not about harvesting olives.
It was about harvesting headlines.
Brad Lander’s latest stunt is nothing more than a calculated political provocation.
Lander traveled to a foreign country, deliberately entered a restricted security area, and participated in an unauthorized activity without the required coordination.
What makes this stunt even more outrageous is that his own team contacted Israeli representatives in the United States ahead of his visit and was explicitly informed that proper coordination with the relevant authorities was required.
He chose to ignore those instructions.
At a time of heightened security tensions, Israeli security forces have a responsibility to protect lives, prevent dangerous incidents, and maintain public order.
Had anyone been injured as a result of his reckless political theater, Lander would undoubtedly have been among the first to demand that Israeli authorities intervene and provide protection.
Brad Lander came looking for a confrontation. Now he is pretending to be its victim.

Sure, Anthropic may have stolen all the world's intellectual property, destroyed the education system, incited mass layoffs among the corporate class, devalued all art and destroyed social trust but somehow they also managed to lose $80 billion in the first half of 2026

so if Mamdani is a centrist we can all agree that Mamdani's politics are reasonable and pragmatic and that DSA candidates are good and their agenda should be implemented nationwide

when even the National Review thinks you've sunk too low, you know you've got a problem
BOMBSHELL:
Ohio Democratic gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton’s own mother urges voters not to vote for her daughter.
“My name is Donna Arthur and I’m Amy Acton’s mother. I worked at Children and Family Service Association, building one of the first two sexual abuse programs in America.
I love my daughter, but when I saw her lying about her opponent—and it’s not easy for a mother to say this—but Amy has a serious problem.
She is a liar. She lies about her past. She says she grew up living in a tent. None of that is true. She’s lied her entire life.
My daughter needs help, and she can’t help you if she needs help herself. People can change, but first they have to tell the truth, and my daughter still isn’t doing that.
Don’t vote for people who lie. Don’t let her become your governor. If you think she’ll make your life better, you’re fooling yourself. It will only get worse.”
That’s one hell of an October surprise.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Acton's mother lost custody of her children after years of documented issues, including time spent living in a tent and a spouse who sexually abused her daughter Amy (Acton). Amy Acton's brother has also confirmed this story.

Jason Alexander says he feared visiting Palestine as a Jew until 10 Palestinians protected him during an Israeli army raid in Ramallah
“How much of a risk would I be taking as an American Jew walking into Palestinian cities? And Mohammed said, ‘The greatest dishonor that could happen to a religious Muslim is to allow harm to come to an invited guest’”
“And he said, ‘Jason, if they had to, they’ll take a bullet for you.’ And what was so interesting about that trip is, we were having lunch in Ramallah with a bunch of actors and artists at a sort of outdoor restaurant”
“And the Israeli army was conducting a raid on a bank that they thought had terrorist ties a couple blocks away. And they must have, to announce themselves, just shot into the air. And I remember 10 of those guys at the table surrounding me. And I went, ‘Oh my God, he wasn’t kidding. They’re not going to let me get hurt’”

We should have a political program that requires large digital platforms to meet stringent requirements for user service. This ID stuff is bad, and I often think about the difficulty I had in getting Facebook to remove a family friend’s suicide note. This shit happens every day.
