I wanted to reboot my wardrobe. I found a switch and flicked it off then on. Then I realised... That wasn't my wardrobe. That was The Universe. Now I'm alone at the beginning of time, waiting for this shirt from 2003 to come into style 13.7 billion years from now. #vss365

I worked in a warehouse with a man who dropped boxes. "This universe is in a box I didn't handle with care," he told me. "The stars are the shards inside." Often, I wonder how he's doing. I opened a package today. Constellations fell out. He's still doing God's work. #vss365

You always go on about the enormity of the universe, how we'll never grasp it. I used to find it interesting, but I get bored now. I stare into my palm as you talk about endless galaxies and light years. Then I grasp the air, and you and everything else disappears. #vss365

An alien told us not to stare at the Moon anymore. "It doesn't like it," said the alien. "That's why it's edging away from you." So we quit staring, just glanced. We glanced and saw it was getting closer and closer. Soon, it was nuzzling our heads with its craters. #vss365
