In May 26, 1951, 240 Latter-day Saint Service men were surrounded and ambushed by 4000 communist Chinese and North Korean troops during the Korean war.
What came to be known as the Miracle at Gapyeong. These 240 Latter-day Saints fought through the night, killing 350 men and capturing 830, while not one of the 240 Latter-day Saint Soldiers lost their life.
Before they where shipped off to the war their temple president blessed these modern day stripping warriors that they would be protected and spared in combat.
The Lord does keep his promises and protects those who keep their covenants and follow Jesus Christ.
