In May 26, 1951, 240 Latter-day Saint Service men were surrounded and ambushed by 4000 communist Chinese and North Korean troops during the Korean war.
What came to be known as the Miracle at Gapyeong. These 240 Latter-day Saints fought through the night, killing 350 men and capturing 830, while not one of the 240 Latter-day Saint Soldiers lost their life.
