Learning how to process and regulate our emotions does not come to us naturally, like our need for air, water, and food. This article looks at how understanding emotional wellness could have a huge impact on things like addiction, depression, and anxiety. buff.ly/3ACOeCW

I would happily feed into this my perpetrator is released on a gps tag - a gps tag they could not even fit for weeks after release as he gave a false address to the @metpoliceuk @SurreyPolice the old bailey, Staines magistrates court, probation etc 🙄 the whole system is flawed!

The agencies that do DWP are horrid. I’ve had to deal with them numerous times. Go to tribunal which has a high success rate. The whole process needs to go into the hands of medical consultants and not some nurse or paramedic who hasn’t even got their ruddy degree yet.

Such ignorance!
When hundreds of thousands of people who could work suddenly cannot due to anxiety or ADHD, can that be genetic? It doesn't pass the sniff test. #ADHD

Over 57,000 signatures. Amazing work! Just 24 days to get the petition to save SEND rights to 100,000. If you’ve already signed will you take up the high five challenge and put up 5 posters in your community? It’s a great way of raising awareness. facebook.com/share/1EgTbyB2D…

Disabled people are sick of being looked at as £ signs. We are human beings. The value of human life should not be tied to productivity. Here’s reality: We have an ageing population and the world was hit by a mass disabling event (Covid). Stop punching down on disabled people.
Total insanity. Britain is on a crash course to bankruptcy. And we have a government with no concept of spending restraint which thinks taxing everything is the answer. A calamity.

We're constantly told more disabled people need to work. But DWP's own research identifies barriers in recruitment too, inaccessible processes, lack of disability awareness, reasonable adjustments, flexible working and understanding of Access to Work. You can give somebody all the employment support in the world, but if the recruitment process itself creates barriers, the problem isn't automatically the disabled person. #DisabilityEmployment #AccessToWork #DisabledPeople #DisabilityRights #DWP

👇👇FOR THOSE AT THE BACK!!! 👇👇 Ok, let’s look at the actual facts and figures regarding #Disabled individuals, supposedly fraudulently claiming #PIP So WHY are they continuing to badger people who have lifelong conditions which never change, inciting HATE and divide?

1,000 new PIP claims EVERY SINGLE DAY. It’s unaffordable. Unfair to taxpayers. And just morally wrong. Everyone can see that - EXCEPT Labour MPs who just want to TAX people more to SPEND more on benefits.

Today I’ve been a sandwich carer w poorly grandson in morning from 8am, followed by 4 hours of lessons for my disabled son. I’m disabled myself, with M.E. and Fibromyalgia, so, I collapsed and slept for approximately 3 hours right after my son’s lessons. Literal exhaustion.
Why family carers burnout. 1 No real Time Off 2 Constant responsibility 3 No clear boundaries 4 little Or No Support 5 Emotional strain that doesn't stop 6 No clear endpoint 7 Always on alert 8 Personal needs pushed aside 9 Lives revolves around caring 10 Pressure to keep going

Of course what you don't know is that I applied for PIP, they - of course- had me go through mandatory reconsideration, a tribunal where I got standard mobility (which, where I live, is not even remotely enough afaic) and by the time they did a review, my issues had exacerbated in severity. Had the DWP actually not played stupid games with really f*cking daft BS like "has a hobby" and "uses a computer" (which EVERY BLOODY CLAIMANT seems to be EXPECTED TO BE ABLE TO FRIGGIN USE ANYWAY), I wouldn't be in the mess I'm in! So yeah. Thanks for that DWP. Really not helpful.

What’s your appeal date, friend? The mandatory reconsideration is not an appeal, only the Court appeal is.

Oh no no no, you're doing it wrong. Show us the likely stupid excuses they've given for not awarding it. Mine were "Can use a computer", and "Has a hobby". My partner's was "Has a job". Yep. "Has a job".

Now that really IS not just absolutely petty, but completely stupid and very backwards. i think that covers the DWP nicely. Cruel and stupidly so.
