New home sales for a top builder here. We dropped prices as far as we can and we have to take a short term hit. Communities we’re selling now were acquired in ‘20 to ‘22 at top dollar. As new communities bought in ‘23 come online, I’d bet sales explode from being priced right.

New home sales in my area blew up last weekend. Central NC my builder just had the strongest sales weekend in over 1 year this last weekend, mlk weekend. We were slammed. I work for a top 10 US Fortune 500 builder as a new home sales rep. We tripled our weekly projection and we were busy yesterday too. We are heavy on upcoming contract apts this week as well. We didn’t do a new incentive and bad weather was forecasted “it ended up not being to bad, just cold” but buyers are out. It caught me off guard I’m not sure if a random one off or an overall shift, I called my friends who work at competitors locally, they were busy too and all said they got multiple sales individually over the weekend. @realMeetKevin
