£1300 per month for this 👇🏽
Staff at Lewisham Council should be FIRED for their disgraceful track record on disrepair and health/safety.

There have been three accidents on this road since the layout was altered, tragically resulting in the death of a young person.
What measures will you implement to restore safety to this road? @LewishamCouncil @TfL @Brenda_Dacres

If @AngelaRayner doesn't sign this amendment, it could mark the end of her political career. Do the right thing and sign, or we will punish you at the next election. #TakingThePIP
108 MPs have now signed the amendment. More could sign in the coming days. Here is the list so far. #TakingThePIP

Over 90,000. Thank you to everyone who has signed and shared. It looks as though the white paper has been pushed back. You are making a difference. Will you help us get to 100,000 so we can get a debate in Parliament to protect disabled children’s rights?
The government is considering removing disabled children’s right to support (education, health and care plans). We’ve been told a white paper is due any time. We urgently need your help to get this petition to 100,000 to get a debate in Parliament. 1/2

So if EHCPs are the only way to access services and the government wants to get rid of them how will disabled children be able to access services? Short answer: they won’t.
petition.parliament.uk/petit…
Strategic governance poor, resources not targeted effectively, EHCPs late and poor quality (and the only way to access services), health waiting times too long, information sharing between education, health and care weak. No surprises here.

Just to be clear: the government is not working with parents. It is actively and urgently working with LAs to remove disabled children’s rights. Please sign the petition.

Inclusion is never something you add to a child’s workload to avoid putting it on your own. Especially when almost ALL SEND includes difficulties with executive functioning and information processing, task switching and planning.

Children are #MadeToMove, their clothing should be too! We’re proud to be part of the #ActiveUniformAlliance, a group of organisations calling for all primary schools to adopt an always-active uniform, enabling children to move, play and learn all day. activeuniform.org
I’ll add, stepping into a world where you put a target on your back when you’re your childrens voice and ask for the law to be upheld to ask for support they’re legally entitled to! 💔🤬👇
I didn’t know
that having a child with a learning disability
meant stepping into a fight
I never signed up for
I thought there’d be support
real support
not just slogans and shallow praise.
Not yoga classes and “wellbeing days”
