COVID deaths are disproportionately spiking in Black + Brown communities.
Why? Because the chronic toll of redlining, environmental racism, wealth gap, etc. ARE underlying health conditions.
Inequality is a comorbidity. COVID relief should be drafted with a lens of reparations.
For many folks with disabilities who are living independently, home care is an essential service. Yet privatized providers have been cancelling appointments, as home care has not been classified as ‘essential’ leaving folks isolated & without care. Home care is essential. #nspoli
