The evidence they don't believe it is that they aren't concerned about us issuing a fatwa.

Men always fan cast James Bond with the actor they have the biggest homosocial fixation on and itโs like thank you for sharing something so personal with us but thatโs not really the criteria weโre working with here

Those who celebrate a โfall harvestโ or some such in place of Halloween because the latter is supposedly satanic never fail to make me laugh.
Guys, Halloween is not pagan. Itโs Christian.
Do you know what is unmistakably pagan? Celebrating solstices and the changing of seasons.

You all are not doing a very good job with this sleep conversation convincing that motherhood is, in fact, the most important job a woman can do. Doesnโt matter if youโre the only one out of your mind taking care of your kids, since you donโt have a ~real~ job like going to do spreadsheets!
Anti-feminism-ing yourselves all the way back to feminism again.

Women who say this kind of thing are witches putting curses on you and trying to steal your youth, btw. Perhaps you are extremely beautiful?

Feel sorry for any of you spending time in your marriages negotiating the exact boundaries of your respective gender roles instead of just jumping to do what you can to make each otherโs lives easier within your abilities, couldnโt be me.

Thereโs no need to treat modesty as some kind of taboo sin
We can just treat it like anything else
Most of the time itโs not our stewardship to confront someone on their sin
But we can always talk about sin generally

the chronicles of narnia don't get enough credit for being so different from each other. No two of them are written in the same genre.
LWW: "conventional" hero's journey fantasy
Prince Caspian: uncategorizable, no idea what he was going for here tbh
Voyage of the Dawn Treader: CS Lewis' The Odyssey
The Silver Chair: CS Lewis' Pilgrim's Progress
Horse and His Boy: CS Lewis' Arabian Nights
Magician's Nephew: multiverse scifi!
The Last Battle: apocalypse fantasy
very impressive, imo, to do this while returning you to a world and storytelling style that feels familiar from book to book

I found this on FB.
And itโs to amazing not to share.
I remember the days of me taking all 4 of my children to church alone, while my wife was not active.
Brethren donโt give up.
