Replying to @hueoops
We live in a world where ordinary people can be monsters, by refusing to see the human side in others. But please, never forget: heroes are born ordinary, too Ordinary people, like you and I, who stood firm in their belief to do what was right. At times, even redeeming monsters.

Ocarina of Time remake unbelieably fixes the issue of the items and rupees economy the original game had, you would basically never run out of ammo or rupees but they're so much more scarce now, it's throwing me off but it's good for the game in my opinion

your online persona had zero correlation to you as a person. You were entirely separate beings. As well, you might be a wholly different person across different sites, forums, whatever, of which there were MANY. the average user probably went on like 5+ separate communities
Millennials, what was considered completely NORMAL in 2005 that would be absolutely unhinged today?

Happens to the best of us.
Paused the game to step away. Came back. Unpaused the game. 30 years of muscle memory kicked in and

One of my most consistent complaints about Ocarina of Time is having a full wallet of 500 Rupees with nothing to spend it on. That is definitely not the case with the remake. Rupees are actually harder to come by, and there are suprising things you actually have to pay for now.

THATS WHY THEY TARGET PORN They WANT you to be too embarrassed to advocate against their tyranny. They are weaponising cringe culture, and our anxiety-riddled social media ecosystem has made people so susceptible to it You could go to jail for filming yourself deep throating!!
trying to explain why im Against the uk porn laws without sounding like The Pervert

You can tell the people that are complaining that "they've made the game for babies" haven't actually played it because not only are the enemies more aggressive, some of them do more damage and the item drops are also incredibly scarce, so if anything it's MORE difficult
Drawbridge no longer raises at night, it seems like. It's more convenient but I'm not a fan of the change

The cop said they could press charges against the son or the father could pay me compensation & they all get a trespass order. The dad didn't want to pay & didn't think I'd follow thought. He's on his way to the bank & has been warned not to even say single word to me ever again
THE NEIGHBOURS KID CAME INTO MY YARD, CLIMBED INTO MY GARDEN BEDS & PROCEEDED TO CUT DOWN MY ENTIRE FRONT GARDEN BECAUSE HIS ASSHOLE FATHER TOLD HIM TO DO IT. THE THING THAT HAS BEEN HOLDING MY MENTAL HEALTH TOGETHER IS GONE

Idk if any modern games have this feature but I would love to see it more so that I can learn some new stuff about the cars from the game itself instead of opening a Google tab to learn about the cars
This woman taught us all so much about cars:

Gameplay wise ac2 is ace combat in its purest form. A lot of things that make the series what it is start here and overall this game is very fun and just a great time. Also amazing soundtrack.
Definitely a game that shows it's age but looking past the limitations and funky controls of the time, it's overall pretty fun. Would I recommend starting the series from here? No. But it's neat to look back on where it started.

That paragraph is exactly what the advice means! Talk about your feelings, without letting your feelings control the talk! I'll bet you can't picture Bob Ross getting angry; but that was part of his past, and he hated it! Same with Mr Rogers. They led by example - so can we!
This holds generally true of all people, and is why “talk more about your feelings!” is absolutely terrible advice, especially for men.

So if I'm a traumatised six year old and don't somehow find the courage to report my rapist father and explode my family by the age of twelve, forget it?? Fuck off, you absolute joke of a woman.
Report sexual assault in 6 years or forget it. Are we going to have trials for men aged 90 for something they did at 17?

For as detail oriented as the game is, one really odd change OOT remake does is that Link doesn’t turn doorknobs to open doors, he just kinda pushes them open

The day we accept that men are just as much victims of patricarchy as women are, will be the day we'll finally be able to dismantle patriarchy These boys weren't born cruel, they were taught cruelty because cruelty is "manly."
"Men arent bad, they're socialized to be selfish, violent, and to see women as objects" This is what little girls have to deal with. We endure casual cruelty and abuse our entire lives, but we're supposed to pretend males are victims of the same system built by men to protect men

If you think about this logically for more than three seconds instead of jumping to banal conclusions about how modern games treat gamers like idiots you’d probably realize this was done to prevent trapping players in castle town because the time of day can change there now.
Ocarina of Time was not a particularly hard or frustrating game at all and yet something as logical as “the drawbridge goes up at night” must be removed because it might cause a little bit of friction with the player

I wanted to see if the zelda ocarina of time remake addressed why the weird bird statue can talk and the conclusion it came to is that it’s weird that the bird statue can talk
