A degree is good, but a skill can feed you too. We need to stop raising children to chase certificates alone and start preparing them for real life.
Nigerian parents have made education the only path to success for their children. Many no longer value skills or other ways of making it in life. That’s one of the reasons we’re still behind. Education is important, but skills are equally important. Not everyone has to follow the same path to succeed. 💯🇳🇬

In 100 years, strangers will live in our homes and own the things we worked so hard for. Our names will fade, and our stories will be forgotten. Maybe then we’ll realize that life was never about having more, but about living more and enjoying the moments we kept postponing. ♥️
