Since its foundation in 1824 the bravery of Royal National Lifeboat Institution volunteers has saved more than 146,700 lives at sea.
Hundreds of those volunteers have died attempting to save others. They are the best of us.

The proposed plan to sell off a section of FIFA to a group of investors led by Donald Trump’s son-in-law is the end of the credibility of Gianni Infantino’s FIFA.
How can we take such an organization seriously?
Remember the Folarin Balogun red card scandal where Donald Trump phoned up Gianni to get the one game suspension overturned. How does that decision seem to you, now you know there was a proposed ten-billion-dollars deal between the two men?

En escasamente un mes Gianni Infantino retira una tarjeta roja bajo "sospecha"de intervención política.
Después, un requerimiento del Congreso de EE. UU para aclarar retirada de acusaciones por parte de FIFA,de ex miembros de FIFA condenados por corrupcion, entre otras cosas
Y ahora, FIFA promete más de 10.000 millones de dólares y hasta 20 millones adicionales a cada federación mientras prepara la entrada de inversores privados en sus derechos y competiciones.
No parece una reforma. Parece una campaña electoral financiada con el futuro del fútbol.
El desarrollo no puede utilizarse para comprar votos ni silencios. Las competiciones y los derechos comerciales de FIFA no son patrimonio personal de Infantino.
Quien mezcla política, disciplina, dinero y poder sin transparencia no puede liderar nada.
