They’re issuing their own stablecoin Cloud Dollar ($CLDUSD) with @MetallicusTDBN on a compliance-first blockchain (BSA/AML/KYC built in), integrated straight to their core via DaLand’s Coin2Core. Interesting detail: Metallicus is also a certified FedNow service provider (send, receive, liquidity management, and Request for Payment). So they’re covering both the instant fiat rails and the stablecoin layer. Real use case already: a national food co-op using Cloud Dollar for settlement between grocers + on-chain rewards. Legacy rails are slow and expensive. FedNow helps on the pure fiat side. Stablecoins are the second bucket. Deposits stay on-platform. Members get faster, cheaper, transparent movement. First they called you crazy. Now they’re calling for advice. The people still yelling “scam” at regulated credit union stablecoins look increasingly out of touch.
