GenLayer is a court where AI validators judge disputes, and an AI judge is cheap to spin up. That one fact explains why it needs a token.
If ruling cost nothing, one person could fill the court with their own judges. So on @GenLayer a validator has to lock at least 42,000 GEN, run its own infrastructure and earn a place in the top 1,543 before it gets a vote.
That is GEN's first job: the price of a seat. Users also pay in GEN for the compute, AI inference and validation behind a verdict, and builders earn GEN when their contracts are used.
What surprised me most in the paper is where the fees go. 70% to stakers, 15% to validators for running nodes, 10% to developers and 5% to the DeepThought DAO, a planned AI-governed DAO funded only from fees.
That last line is the one I'd read twice. Because the DAO is paid only from fees, its income tracks real network usage, and I like a design where governance gets paid only when the court is actually used.
Would you trust a network's priorities more if its governance only got paid when people actually used it?

wait, seeing how this handles your whole ad campaign automatically is insane

Most networks focus on how much capital is locked. I think the more interesting question is what happens when someone makes a bad decision.
That’s where @GenLayer tokenomics gets interesting.
GEN connects three different roles: users pay for execution, validators stake tokens to participate in judging, and delegators support validators without running infrastructure.
But the incentive design is what stands out to me.
A judge who loses a case forfeits their fee and faces an equal penalty from their own stake. Silence and proven fraud carry separate slashing penalties.
This creates a system where participation comes with responsibility, not just rewards.
I believe the real test of decentralized AI isn't how many judges a network has. It's whether those judges have enough economic reason to act honestly.
Would you trust a network more because its judges have something meaningful to lose?

$ETH holders are going through it 😂💔
ETF outflows just hit $1.61B in a single month. ETH continues to lag behind BTC and the foundation isn’t exactly having its best moment either
there’s quite a bit going on:
- $292M lost to a bridge exploit
- frustration from ETH holders
- foundation leadership drama
sadly too, ETH is an eco with a lot of good devs. the community is active, the tek is there.
I just wonder when price will actually pick up. we need to see some progress fr 🥲

I created my first inscription on @beepzfun .
I like that everything, creating, inscribing, and trading, is in one place.
I created my first inscription on beepzfun Using this steps:
➤ Connect your wallet
➤ Click Create
➤ Set your inscription rules
➤ Deploy your inscription
➤ Inscribe or trade it
It’s still testnet, so I used test ETH to practice. I like that creating, inscribing, and trading are all in one place.
Use the video guide on the quoted tweet for more clarification.
this is a short video illustration on how you can create your first inscription on @beepzfun
it is short but direct and it is really gonna help you create your own inscription on testnet phase
I hope it helps you
When I was nineteen, one click from me erased six years of someone's online life. The appeal against my ban landed in my own inbox, so I was the judge and the only court.
I still remember that username. It taught me that the danger of one unchecked decision-maker matters more than whether that decision-maker is human or a machine.
One AI model shouldn't decide the outcome of a disputed deal on its own. Making that power accountable is the real problem.
That's the challenge @GenLayer addresses.
Its Intelligent Contracts interpret natural language, execute code, and use external data.
Through Optimistic Democracy, a randomly selected leader proposes an outcome. A stake-weighted committee evaluates it using independent AI configurations and commit-reveal voting.
If a decision is challenged, a fresh, larger committee can review the original proposal. A successful validator appeal sends the transaction back for recomputation.
GEN powers validator staking, contract execution, and appeal bonds. Developers can also earn 10% of the time-unit fees generated by their contracts through the associated Developer NFT.
For me, the real innovation isn't just AI making decisions. It's giving those decisions a way to be challenged.
Would you trust AI to resolve real disputes if its decisions could be challenged by independent validator committees?

Privacy is becoming one of the most important challenges in Web3 especially when financial data and sensitive information are involved.
Think about it What if applications could verify your information without accessing your private data? Or perform computations on encrypted information without revealing its contents?
That's the kind of problem @primus_labs is working to solve.
Primus is developing privacy focused infrastructure designed to make sensitive data both useful and verifiable without unnecessary exposure.
I find this approach particularly interesting because privacy shouldn't mean losing the ability to use or verify information.
From onchain finance to digital identity and data verification this technology could open up new possibilities for Web3 applications.
There is still a lot to explore but I am interested in seeing how Primus turns this vision into practical solutions.

The Fungo Genesis NFT isn’t the only way to get involved with @FungoLabs.
There’s now another opportunity for creators and the wider community to contribute to the ecosystem and this time, you don’t need to own a Genesis NFT to participate.
The Fungo X campaign is officially live, with 300M $FUNGO allocated to participants.
That’s a pretty big opportunity for people who enjoy creating content, sharing ideas and helping projects grow through genuine community engagement.
But how exactly does it work? Let’s get into it. 🧵👇

been watching the @FungoLabs site and the "you can sell it sealed" part is the one i keep coming back to.
the world only sees the same mark on every NFT... you can look inside privately whenever you want.
you can publish the Art later or never... and you can list and sell it while it’s still sealed.
the buyer knows they’re getting something they can’t fully inspect yet, and the seller loses the ability to look the moment the sale goes through...
most collections force the reveal before anyone is willing to buy... here the sealed state is a valid trading state.
that changes the math a bit: you’re not just pricing Art and Rarity, you’re also pricing the option to keep it private...
still figuring out if i’d rather buy sealed or wait for people to publish... would you rather hold one that stays sealed or one that gets published early FungoLabs?

A contract can be completed in seconds. Proving that someone actually honoured it is a different problem.
One detail from @GenLayer's film deserves more attention.
A court case in India filed in 1951 was finally dismissed on April 16, 2026, after neither party appeared. That's 75 years between filing and dismissal, with no meaningful resolution of the dispute.
Let that sink in.
If a dispute between people can remain unresolved for generations, what happens when the parties involved aren't even human?
We're moving towards an economy where AI agents will negotiate terms, purchase services, exchange assets and execute agreements without waiting for human approval at every step.
But automation introduces a difficult question that doesn't get enough attention:
What happens when two autonomous agents disagree about whether an agreement was fulfilled?
One agent may have delivered exactly what was requested. Another may interpret the agreement differently. Both can present records supporting their position.
Simply executing code cannot resolve every disagreement. Some disputes require evidence to be examined, different interpretations to be considered and an actual judgment to be reached.
This is the problem GenLayer is approaching with its AI powered adjudication layer.
Rather than relying on one AI system to decide everything, multiple independent AI validators examine the evidence and work towards a collective verdict.
That distinction matters.
Because an AI powered economy needs more than agents capable of making agreements. It needs a credible way to resolve disagreements when those agreements go wrong.
Speed without accountability is just faster uncertainty.
The real test is whether we can make digital agreements as trustworthy as we make them easy to execute.
