Today Jim has been out to Teggs Nose Country Park in Cheshire to see Martin, the ranger responsible for the open space and grazing animals in the park.
It's great to see them getting involved and supporting the pledge to keep all animals safe!

This is Nev🐶
Nev likes to chase anything that moves.
Nev wouldn’t hurt a soul, but he does like to play.
He stays on the lead around grazing animals because he might want to chase them. And that wouldn’t be safe for the animals, or for Nev.
Keep your dog safe! 😊

Livestock worrying and attack rates from off-lead dogs have increased across the UK. Working together the @cheshirepolice, @RSPCA_official & @Naturewatch_org created OPERATION RECALL to educate the public as we step outdoors to enjoy the summer holidays: c-js.uk/4bk60N9

A reminder to please ALWAYS keep your dogs under close control when exploring the countryside. We’ve had another incident where a cow has crashed through barbed fencing & dry stone walls to escape a dog. Thankfully it appears the steer is not injured #OpRecall @CheshPolRural
