Hamilton teaching and showing Ferrari the way but will Ferrari follow?
🚨| Hamilton’s Theory Supported After US Grand Prix:
— Lewis Hamilton’s suspicions that Ferrari’s rivals are holding back performance during practice have received support from former Haas team principal Guenther Steiner following the United States Grand Prix.
— Hamilton questioned how Mercedes and Red Bull managed to find significant additional pace in Q3 despite Ferrari appearing competitive throughout the earlier sessions. He remarked:
“These guys must be turning up for that last Q3 because where did that time go?”
“It felt like we were right there in the fight and the car was just as good as… we didn’t make any changes; the car didn’t flip upside down in Q3. It was a really good lap.”
— Hamilton also highlighted Ferrari’s continuing straight-line speed disadvantage compared with Mercedes and Red Bull.
“Ultimately we do lose, I think we are a few tenths off on the straight as we usually are.”
— Speaking on the Chequered Flag podcast, Guenther Steiner suggested that Ferrari-powered cars have repeatedly appeared stronger during practice than their eventual qualifying results indicate.
“I think all the last races, the Ferrari engine cars in the free practices seem to be always faster than they ended up to be in qualifying.”
“I’ve got the feeling that the other ones, I wouldn’t call it proper sandbagging, but the other ones hold something back before going to qualifying and Ferrari doesn’t.”
— Former World Champion Damon Hill questioned why Ferrari consistently reveals its potential early in the weekend, potentially creating unrealistic expectations among fans and within the team.
“Why show your hand too early?”
— Hill suggested Ferrari could experiment with heavier fuel loads or reduced engine modes during practice, keeping its true performance less obvious until qualifying.
— Hill believes Ferrari’s tyre management and race pace remain competitive, even if its single-lap performance continues to fall short.
“The fact of the matter is, the car in the race was very good, so they got a car that’s kind on the tyres, and it seems to be a good race car.”

Charles DNA - The 2025 disasterclass of a car.
Lewis’s DNA - The 2026 car only let down by the engine from challenging for a title.
Listen to Lewis, get rid of Fred and all the deadwood “No we do it the Ferrari way, it’s tradition” Maybe they stand a slight chance in 27!

Lewis Hamilton has confirmed that his work with Ferrari is already extending directly into the development of its 2027 car.
🔹He is identifying areas of the current chassis he believes must improve.
🔹His aerodynamic feedback is being passed to the engineers developing next year’s package.
🔹Those discussions continued through the Austin weekend and will continue over the remaining races.
🔹Hamilton also believes Ferrari must continue improving its power unit to challenge Mercedes and Red Bull consistently.
He is not personally designing the car, but Ferrari’s 2027 engineers are receiving direct feedback from the seven-time World Champion on the characteristics he wants changed.
Hamilton says the objective is to help “steer the car in the right direction” while there is still time to influence its development.
The bigger question now: how much of what Hamilton is asking for will Ferrari actually build into the 2027 car?

Diğer pilotlar elenmişken 41 yaşındaki Hamilton’ın şampiyonluk ihtimalinin hala devam etmesi.. Adam başka bir seviye.

This guy has to get out of Ferrari. Elkann must take a firm position; they have already tried where they want to take the team, and it is a total failure. 8 years (4 years with Fred) without titles and prioritizing Leclerc. Wake up.

The deliberate structural bias of the leadership of @ScuderiaFerrari with the alliance between Fred-Todt-Leclerc has prevented us from having a real chance of championship with Hamilton. Even with all that, the only Ferrari driver who would have remote options is Hamilton. Obtuse
