What got me started building Paperweight was the Odido data breach. I hadn't been a customer for more than 8 years, but all my data, incl. government IDs was still in their systems.
Years of online activity leave behind forgotten accounts, breached services and personal information spread across hundreds of companies. That gives attackers more material for phishing, scams, profiling, identity fraud and abuse.
Paperweight doesn't just use your inbox to map your digital footprint. It finds the actual personal data you’ve shared with those companies and helps you remove what's no longer needed.
What I'm building next are local tools that detect, mask and redact personal data before you share it with external systems. Expose less data in the first place and keep your digital footprint smaller over time.
