After 6 months in chemotherapy, I finally got to ring the bell. I beat cancer for a second time!
Though my body feels like it's been through hell and back, I’m excited to be on the road to recovery! ♥️

I had a conversation with a friend about how disabled people have been dehumanized by society, and that impacts how the world sees, treats, and interacts with us.
This post is about more than disabled people can have sex. It’s about recognizing our humanity which including our desires, our autonomy, and most importantly, our RIGHT to make decisions about our own bodies. Being disgusted by someone simply for being human while disabled is ableist and dehumanizing.
This mindset doesn’t just lead to hurtful comments or opinions. It impacts how disabled people are treated when seeking sexual and reproductive care which has been an issue for years now. That looks like whether our questions are taken seriously, our needs are acknowledged, and our choices are respected.
At a time when our right to make decisions about our own bodies is being challenged by those in office, it’s important to understand what’s at stake for disabled people. Being recognized as sexual beings isn’t just about representation but it’s about our autonomy, our safety, and our right to make informed choices about our bodies.
When our desires, needs, and decisions aren’t taken seriously, it becomes easier for others to dismiss our concerns, deny us care, or make decisions on our behalf. That can put us in harm’s way. We deserve to have our consent respected, our choices honored, and our access to sexual and reproductive care protected.
Madonna is still salty that Prince banned her from his dressing room so she had to use a public toilet.
She’s also mad that when she and Basquiat broke up, he demanded his paintings back and painted them black.
Madonna explains the real reason legends like Michael Jackson, Prince, and Jean-Michel Basquiat burned out.
“When you channel artistic ideas and you have creative visions, it’s magic. And when you overthink it or you start thinking about how much of that you own, you stop it. A lot of people have these meteoric careers and they rise up and take the world by storm… and then something happens and they can’t handle the light. In a way, they fly too close to the light and it burns them.
I would say that’s really true about many of my peers… whether that’s Prince or Michael Jackson or Jean-Michel Basquiat. These are people who were channeling, but I don’t think they understood that there has to be some kind of restriction. People like to take drugs because they’re actually channeling light… but it’s light with no restriction. And then that’s what kills you or burns you out.”

There are so many beautiful vacation destinations in Black majority countries across the Caribbean and Africa. I’ve never understood why some Black folk choose to spend their time and money in countries notorious for racism instead of places where you can feel welcomed.

Mike Rogers is terrible at faking it. And judging by Kristen Welker’s face, she’s not buying one second of this bullshit.

And kids were present and ate their sandwiches at the lynchings after listening to their pastor preach about God’s love. I just don’t understand why everyone doesn’t accept the fact that everyone was taught white supremacy and the “watered down” KKK teachings are still pervasive

Yep. The white left must overpowered & disempowered in any future coalition.
Their racial ignorance and divided schedule of cognitive norms are a political liability & toxin. That’s an objective fact. Any white leftist worth $2 should see that themselves.
I’ve been running in and out of Ubers all day for doctor's appointments. All my physicians were Black women, and it was nothing short of a blessing.
All of them wore masks for me, knowing how fragile my immune system is. When I met my new white oncologist, he asked me to unmask.

I genuinely don’t understand how ordinary people are supposed to afford assisted living for their aging parents. Some facilities charge upwards of $10,000 A MONTH. That’s $120,000 a year just to make sure your parents are properly cared for. How is the average family supposed to afford that?

When defending his cruel ad featuring Amy Acton’s pedophile protecting mom, Vivek Ramswamy said, “Politics is a tough sport.”
That's just the thing: this is all a game to politicians like him. Politics is not a sport. In reality, people’s lives are hanging in the balance.

Bill Maher is not a liberal . He is an Islamophobe. He is a 70 year old never married druggie. 12 years ago Ben Affleck exposed Maher. No one with a brain listens to Maher anymore.
“Yeah I did it again, bitches. Fuck you, I like these dinners.”
@billmaher lashes out, defends himself for having dinner with Trump again. He says Trump had good etiquette, never lost his temper or yelled… How nice!
Imagine being this far up your own ass.
