It has been a privilege to attend scientific sessions delivered by both of you and learn from your extraordinary work. Your contributions to neuroscience continue to inspire me, and I sincerely hope to see your pioneering research recognised with the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in the near future.

On my way back from Europe, I had the great pleasure of visiting Prof. Dr. Murat Terzi, a dear friend, mentor, and highly respected visionary leader in neurology in Türkiye 🇹🇷. Professor Murat Terzi currently serves as President of the Turkish Neurological Society, Full Professor of Neurology, and Head of the Department of Neurology at Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine in Samsun, Türkiye 🇹🇷. Throughout his distinguished career, Professor Murat Terzi has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to mentoring, training, inspiring, and engaging young people in neurology and neuroscience across Türkiye and beyond. I have personally had the privilege of meeting him on several occasions at major and top international scientific gatherings in Finland, Switzerland, South Korea, the United States, and across Europe. Many thanks to Professor Murat Terzi for his great hospitality and for showing me his outstanding research work and ongoing clinical trials in the different advanced laboratories within his Department of Neurology and Neuroscience at the university hospital. Many thanks also to everyone I met there for their warm welcome and hospitality. It was truly wonderful to benefit once again from his invaluable mentorship, experience, and dedication to advancing neurology and neuroscience. I am also deeply grateful to Professor Murat Terzi for our inspiring discussions about future projects and collaborations that could strengthen neurological education, research, and care. Finally, I warmly invite all neurologists, neuroscientists, researchers, trainees, neurology residents, and other interested colleagues from Türkiye and around the world to submit their abstracts, attend, and present their work at the internationally attended 62nd National Neurology Congress, organized by the Turkish Neurological Society from 12–16 December 2026 at the Royal Seginus Hotel in Lara, Antalya, Türkiye. I am incredibly grateful to have reached 3,000+ citations on Google Scholar, with an h-index of 34 and an i10-index of 86. I sincerely thank all my mentors, supervisors, collaborators, co-authors, colleagues, and everyone who has been part of this journey and supported me since day one. Thank you very much for your support, guidance, motivation, encouragement, and inspiration. Driven by my passion for research, I look forward to continuing to learn, grow through experience, and make an even greater impact in the years ahead.
