2Pac Pulls Up Live on 92.3 The Beat. Fresh off the release of All Eyez On Me.
February 1996. Morning of the Grammys.
All Eyez on Me had only been out about two weeks when P Funk from 92.3 The Beat pulled up live on John London & The House Party morning show with Tupac sitting right next to him.
Still riding that All Eyez On Me wave. Still in the streets. Still unfiltered.
Pac jokes that P Funk was outside in his drawls trying to get in the Grammys, so he dragged him into the limo and told him to put some clothes on.
2Pac clowned Funk because he said Ol’ Dirty Bastard needs to win an award over him.
Pac even talks about trying to put together a California Love show with Snoop and get it on 92.3 The Beat.
He also promoted Snoop’s “Tha Doggfather” album & “2 Of Amerikaz Most Wanted” future video shoot.
If you Listen close — you can even hear Monica’s Before You Walk Out of My Life about to play in the background.
Months later, Pac sends the love right back to The Beat on 2 Live & Die In LA.
“This go out for 92.3…”
One of the last times we heard 2Pac feeling very optimistic for his future after the release of All Eyez On Me.

The "Ready To Die" Remastered version is definitely the inferior version because of the samples that were removed from some of the songs.

The Nuggets should be 0-3. They’re a bad basketball team, with a clueless coach and a disengaged star. Jokic is gone this offseason. It’s plain as day. Get something for him while you can.

Denver closed their title window when they decided to Scapegoat Micheal Porter Jr and trade him over Jamal Murray.
Trading Porter led them into the delusion that Braun was the appropriate replacement, locking him into that god awful contract.
Not only would’ve Jamal Gotten you a larger Return than Porter, You would’ve saved more cap, and kept your draft capital.
Porter Jr would’ve scaled up next to Jokic just like he’s doing in Brooklyn. He was quite perfect Next to him.
Instead you tied your cap to Braun and Johnson, and relied on the Corpse of Russ, and Now the Corpse of DeRozan, To try and form a capable cast alongside Jokic
Jokic Porter Jr Gordon Front court was always the most appealing option. And they fumbled.

Jaylen Brown’s representatives have told ESPN that he did not demand a trade: “10000% a lie”. (@krisrhim1)
Pretty explosive stuff here from Brian Scalabrine:
"My understanding of this thing is that (Jaylen Brown) demanded to be traded. Not through the media, but to the organization." ...
"My understanding is that Jaylen Brown went to the organization and had a list of demands, and it was like, 'You either do this, or you trade me.' And he was rooting to get traded to Milwaukee, including calling some teammates about, 'Hey, man, what do you think of Milwaukee? We should go there.'"

One of the last known photos of 2Pac in the studio, 1996.
Even in his final days, Pac was working nonstop. His work ethic and influence on West Coast hip-hop remain unmatched.
Rest in peace, Makaveli. 🕊️

A man bet $110 on an NFL game and thought he had turned it into $82,610. FanDuel refused to pay, blamed a technical glitch, and offered him $500 and tickets to three New York Giants games instead.
– Anthony Prince from Newark, New Jersey, was watching the Denver Broncos play the Oakland Raiders in September 2018.
– With just over a minute left, the Broncos were trailing 19-17 but had moved into range of a potential game-winning field goal.
– FanDuel was updating its live betting odds as the game unfolded.
– But something went wrong.
– For approximately 18 seconds, FanDuel’s system displayed the Broncos at 750-to-1 odds to win the game.
– Prince spotted the odds and placed a $110 bet on Denver.
– At those odds, his betting ticket showed a potential payout of $82,610.
– Other bettors reportedly managed to place similar bets during the same brief window.
– Then the Broncos kicked a field goal with six seconds remaining and won the game 20-19.
– Prince had picked the winning team. He went to collect his money.
– But FanDuel refused to honor the $82,610 payout, saying a technical error had generated incorrect odds.
– According to FanDuel, the Broncos should have been heavy favorites at that point, not 750-to-1 underdogs.
– Instead of paying the amount printed on his ticket, the company offered Prince around $500 and tickets to three Giants games.
– Prince rejected the offer and said he planned to get a lawyer involved.
– New Jersey gambling regulators began examining the incident, raising questions about how the sportsbook’s system had produced such wildly incorrect odds.
– With prediction markets, payouts are governed by the contracts traders agree to and the rules for resolving them.
– FanDuel initially stood by its decision, arguing that its rules allowed it to correct obvious pricing errors.
– But the story attracted widespread media attention, and the company consulted with state gambling regulators.
– On September 20, FanDuel reversed its decision and announced it would pay Prince the full amount, along with other customers affected by the same glitch.
– The company acknowledged that the error had spoiled the experience for its customers and said it would honor the erroneous tickets.
He risked $110 and appeared to win $82,610 in the final seconds of an NFL game. FanDuel blamed a glitch and offered him $500 and football tickets instead. But after regulators got involved and the story made headlines, the company changed its mind and agreed to pay him the full amount.
