13. Tightened welfare assessments to cut benefit spending.
14. Threatened pension security.
15. Abandoned my proposal to cap political donations.
16. Redirected international climate finance to fund domestic transport subsidies.

This is an absurd and outrageous decision.
What kind of society are we living in where world-renowned authors and campaigners are treated as enemies and threats? The real threat is this government’s assault on freedom of expression.
This is not an isolated incident — and the government should know that it is gaining a bad reputation for censorship and repression.
We know why the government has taken this decision: because it wants to silence criticism of Israel, as well as its own complicity in genocide. It will not succeed.
The leading advocate for climate justice and Palestinian rights has been blocked from coming to the UK by the Home Office. Politicians, academics and writers have condemned this outrageous act of censorship.

For a Labour Chancellor to declare during a Scrooge Budget in which a painful year is promised to his own people that he had “made the day” of a foreign leader by handing him an EXTRA £10 Billion desperately needed at home is such a cognitive dissonance as to be scarcely believable. That NOBODY in the House protested renders it a rubber-stamp assembly of a kind simply unrecognisable to a long-standing parliamentarian like me.

The Houthis now call Egypt's decision to back Saudi Arabia militarily a declaration of war. Cairo walked into this with its eyes open, and the reason is money.
Egypt's parliament has given Sisi the power to take defensive measures for the kingdom. In the same weeks the pound broke 55 to the dollar for the first time and is now near 56, Cairo is still chasing the IMF's last $2.3 billion, and it is negotiating with Riyadh to renew $5.3 billion of Saudi deposits sitting in its central bank. An army is one of the few things Egypt has left that the Gulf actually wants.
So the creditor gets soldiers, the debtor gets its deposits rolled over, and the Houthis get a new list of targets (Suez traffic, Egyptian ships, the tourists who were already cancelling).

For the love of all that is holy, will @TheGreenParty members who did not experience the establishment onslaught against Corbyn between 2015-2019 please talk to those of us that did, to understand what is going on? Of course they are going to come after @ZackPolanski . Of course they are going to find any wedge point they can and force it wide open, publicly, to create the impression that the party is fighting each other. Don't help them.
If you don't believe us, please also look at what the French establishment has been doing to Melenchon and LFI for the past 10 years (although he is finally winning the argument and stands a good chance of being President after May 2027).
Anyone challenging the status quo will be subjected to this. Internal solidarity is the only thing that will win.
If you are someone who WAS subjected to attacks in the Corbyn era and are now criticising members you consider to be "impure" ffs, STFU. Do you not see you are being dragged into this quite deliberately to destroy the Greens?

In the film Naza, Israeli soldiers admitted something I actually didn't know.
They said that the AI they are using identified a BAKER as being a supporter of Hamas because someone from Hamas bought bread at the bakery.

Naftali Bennett has branded one of the most influential Haredi rabbis in Israel, Dov Lando, as “antisemitic”
What did Rabbi Lando say to earn this label?
Lando proclaimed: “It’s possible, without a state [of Israel], to live well with the Arabs… to live, to respect the Arabs. It was pretty good when the Arabs were in charge. It was the best situation.”
He added that the Zionists “made Arabs hate us.“
Lando went on to call for a peace deal with the Palestinians, and slammed Zionism for having “brought the physical disasters, not just the spiritual ones, to the Jewish people.”
For these clear-eyed statements, Lando has become a public enemy denounced by politicians across the Zionist spectrum. The lesson is clear: even a senior rabbi is one of The Antisemites if he refuses to bow before the state of Israel and its genocidal army.
