VIDEO: This is how to present your candidate, Dr Saraki presented Engr Suleiman Bolakale Kawu as the Kwara PDP gubernatorial candidate to the Emir of Ilorin Alh Ibrahim Sulu Gambari (Shehu). That from governor Rahman was just a mere charade because as we speak, Kwara APC doesn’t have a guber candidate yet.

My governor once said he could stay in a room with people for 10 days without speaking to anyone. So, let’s ask again: what exactly is Kwara Governor, @RealAARahman going to do in the Senate? Is he going there to take a much needed rest or simply to enjoy the title of being a Senator? Vote Turaki! Vote PDP!

I didn’t expect you to read it. I expected you to have the courage to defend your political hypocrisy and the candidate you’re busy doing PR for. But I guess sarcasm is easier when you have no answers. Keep dodging, Bash Omo GAA
I’m not reading all that, sorry about your cat I hope he recovers soonest.

When discussing KWASU, let's remember that behind every fee increase is a student and a family trying to make ends meet. Why did SYD not hold his own word? Is that who you want to govern our state? A serious education conversation must include students themselves. Their experiences with tuition, accommodation and other charges matter. #KWASUStudents #KwaraFirst #SBK2027 #StudentsMatter #SBK2027

The Abdulrahman led APC are crying already while their party is yet to present any policy drive. Kawu’s manifesto will be launched by next week Thursday, let’s see what the APC presents before Kwarans.
Kwara PDP gubernatorial candidate, Engr. Sulaiman Bolakale Kawu, has announced the unveiling of his manifesto for next Thursday. And already, one can anticipate the usual reaction from the AbdulRahman-led Kwara APC; a desperate attempt to discredit the manifesto, trade insults, spew hate and distract the public with politically motivated attacks. What they are unlikely to offer, however, is a serious policy alternative or a clear explanation of what their own candidate intends to do for the people of Kwara State. The truth is that they are comfortable with power but deeply uncomfortable with accountability. They want to govern without being questioned, enjoy public resources without providing convincing explanations, and silence criticism rather than address legitimate concerns. Governor AbdulRahman has yet to provide Kwarans with a comprehensive and transparent account of how the state’s resources have been managed and what tangible value the people have received in return. Accountability should not be a privilege granted at the government’s convenience; it is an obligation owed to the people. Even more revealing is the attitude towards public scrutiny. AbdulRahman is seeking election to the Senate, yet PDP candidate Senator Saliu Mustapha has challenged him to a public debate. This is an opportunity for both candidates to present their ideas, defend their records and demonstrate their understanding of the challenges facing Kwara. It is an opportunity for voters to assess vision, leadership, intellectual depth and capacity. But instead of embracing the opportunity to engage the people and demonstrate his readiness for the responsibility he seeks, AbdulRahman appears determined to avoid the debate. Why should a candidate seeking the mandate of the people be reluctant to defend his record and articulate his vision in a public forum? Kwarans deserve more than political propaganda, manufactured narratives and endless attacks on opposition voices. They deserve facts, policies, transparency and leadership that can withstand scrutiny. You cannot demand the people’s votes while running away from their questions. You cannot claim to have performed while refusing to defend your performance. Power without accountability is arrogance. Leadership without transparency is a disservice. And a candidate who seeks public office must be prepared to face the public, answer difficult questions and defend his record.

This is SA Political’s response to Kwara Governor @RealAARahman, announcing a mega empowerment programme of 5k, apparently intended to counter what Amba had done. You may not fully understand the extent of the hardship people are currently experiencing until you watch this video and listen to the reactions. The conventional practice of the AbdulRahman-led APC administration is to distort reality, blame everyone else for its failures, and then go as far as copying the very initiatives and strategies of those it seeks to discredit.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Kwara State, Engr. Sulaiman Bolakale Kawu (@EngrKaleKawu) , will on Thursday, November 12, unveil his campaign manifesto, titled “My Covenant with Kwara,” ahead of the 2027 governorship election. The manifesto will be formally presented at the Arca Santa Event Centre in Ilorin, the state capital, with the event scheduled to begin at 10:00am prompt. According to a statement signed by the Director General of the Kwara PDP 2027 Campaign Organisation, Prince Omar Bolaji Gambari (@omargambari_1) the unveiling is expected to attract a broad representation of stakeholders from across the state. The event is expected to draw religious leaders; community and town associations and assemblies; students, youth, and women associations; labour leaders; artisans; marketers; transporters; members of the business community; academics; professionals; media and other key stakeholders across the state. According to the statement, the event would provide the Kwara PDP candidate with an opportunity to present his vision, policy priorities and proposed programmes for the development of Kwara State to a broad cross-section of the electorate. It described the manifesto as a covenant between the PDP candidate and the people of Kwara, setting out his commitments and proposed direction for the state when elected governor in 2027. Prince Gambari urged invited stakeholders and members of the public to attend the unveiling, describing it as a significant step in the party’s campaign towards the 2027 general election. Press Release November 2, 2026 *PDP Faults Mysterious Online Polls on 2027 Elections, Says Report contradicts Political Realities across Kwara* The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State has faulted an online opinion poll credited to one unidentified organisation, NU Northstar Research, which claims that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is leading the PDP in the 2027 governorship and senatorial elections in Kwara State. The party described the poll as questionable, lacking sufficient methodological transparency and grossly at variance with the political realities and prevailing sentiments across Kwara State, particularly among grassroots residents who are looking forward to the 2027 general elections. In a statement signed by the State Publicity Secretary, Olusegun Olusola Adewara, the PDP said while it recognises the place of opinion polls in democratic engagement, such exercises must be conducted by credible research institutions and backed by transparent methodologies and verifiable data to command public confidence. "It is amusing that Governor AbdulRazaq and the Kwara APC are now resorting to questionable online polls to manufacture the acceptability they have failed to earn from the people through good governance. We want to remind those in government that popularity cannot be purchased with fabricated statistics, and public confidence cannot be manufactured on a foreign website," the statement added. The party particularly questioned the identity and credibility of NU Northstar Research, whose name has suddenly emerged in the political space ahead of the 2027 elections, without sufficient publicly available information to establish its research credentials, institutional background or track record. "Even more laughable is the claim that the poll covered 30,000 registered voters across all 16 local government areas and 193 wards between September 2 and October 20, 2026. Where exactly were these 30,000 respondents sourced? Who verified their voter registration status? What was the sampling framework? How were rural and urban respondents represented? What independent mechanism was used to authenticate the responses? These are fundamental questions any credible polling organisation must be prepared to answer.," the statement noted. Adewara noted that the poll's purported projections do not reflect the extensive grassroots engagements, political consultations and growing conversations taking place across the state. He said the 2027 elections will be determined by the choices of actual voters at polling units, not conjured online figures whose research processes cannot be independently scrutinised. He added that the PDP and its candidates have continued to engage directly with communities, moving from ward to ward and polling unit to polling unit, listening to residents, building political structures and seeking the confidence of the electorate. The party further questioned the timing of the publication, particularly against the background of increasing political activities ahead of 2027, and cautioned residents against accepting every online survey or opinion poll as an authoritative reflection of public opinion. The Kwara PDP also urged media organisations to exercise due diligence before amplifying polling reports, particularly where the research institution, methodology and supporting data have not been adequately established. The PDP called on its members, supporters and the general public to disregard the poll's projections and remain focused on mobilising greater support for all its candidates ahead of the 2027 elections. Signed: Olusegun Olusola Adewara, State Publicity Secretary, Kwara State PDP

The Kwara Central PDP Senatorial candidate, Senator Saliu Mustapha, has thrown down the gauntlet to Governor @RealAARahman challenging him to publicly account for his developmental contributions to Ilorin and Kwara State before assuming office as governor. Turaki questioned the governor’s sudden display of affection for Kwara, arguing that AbdulRazaq’s interest in the state became pronounced only after gaining access to political power and public office. Senator @RealMallamSaliu made this pointed remark while applauding Ambassador Yahaya Seriki for his remarkable contributions to the advancement and development of Kwara State, despite never having occupied any public office. He challenged the governor to demonstrate what he had contributed to the state before power came his way, rather than allowing political office to define his commitment to Kwara.

See jargons from a whole SA to Kwara governor. 😂
EXCERPT: “When the time comes, we will tell you who your father is. You are asking what Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq did before becoming governor. He had been awarding scholarships to people, unlike you, who use your Senate money to secure JAMB forms. We also provide JAMB and WAEC support to students. “The opposition wants to resort to violence, but we will not follow them on that path.” — Prince Abubakar Sulaiman Sai Kayi, Senior Adviser on Political Matters to the Governor, Kwara Central. #JustEventOnline

Amba is positively strengthening the Rainbow Coalition in Kwara, making it an increasingly formidable force. In a remarkable demonstration of unity and political inclusiveness, he has extended invitations to the Kwara PDP Chairman, Hon. Bawa; the gubernatorial candidate, Engr. Sulaiman Bolakale Kawu; the senatorial candidate, Senator Saliu Mustapha; the PDP Campaign Director-General, Omar Bolaji Gambari; and several other PDP chieftains to his mega empowerment programme. Far beyond party lines, Ambassador Yahaya Seriki has demonstrated that politics should not divide us. Several APC chieftains will also be joining him at this mega empowerment programme in support of his commitment to the people of Kwara. The event promises to be a grand celebration of love, unity, brotherhood and togetherness. Governor AbdulRahman of Kwara State may kindly excuse himself from this gathering, as it is strictly a celebration of brotherhood, unity and shared commitment to the progress of Kwara, and nothing more. Congratulations to the good people of Kwara, who remain the greatest beneficiaries of Amba’s generosity and benevolence. Greater heights to everyone who believes in the unity and collective progress of our dear state. God bless Ambassador Yahaya Seriki for us!
UPDATE: Yesterday, reports that the Ilorin-born mining magnate, Ambassador Yahaya Seriki Gambari, met with Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq at Ahmadu Bello House in Ilorin stirred up the Kwara political landscape. However, here is the account of what reportedly transpired behind the meeting. A close ally of the governor, Dr Ghali Alaaya, contacted Amba and invited him to a special meeting. Seriki honoured the invitation in good faith, without hatred or bitterness. Upon his arrival, Dr Ghali reportedly began pleading with him. However, a close associate of Amba who was present at the meeting became angry and challenged Ghali, asking where he had been when Governor AbdulRahman allegedly treated Amba unfairly. Apparently, Dr Ghali informed the governor that Amba was with him. Consequently, the governor reportedly contacted the Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, GCON, to help speak with Seriki. When the Vice President’s call came in, Amba, who holds him in high regard, was asked to honour him by meeting with the governor. The Vice President reportedly clarified that he was not ordering Seriki to do anything against his wishes but simply requesting that he visit the Government House and express whatever was on his mind. Given his respect for the Vice President, Seriki found it difficult to turn down the request and agreed to honour it. A few minutes after they arrived at the Government House, discussions reportedly commenced. During the meeting, the governor allegedly made several appeals, including claiming that he had pleaded with the Presidency because he wanted Amba on his side. Amba, however, explained that he was no longer dwelling on the governor’s previous treatment of him. He recalled that the governor had asked him to nominate seven candidates for the House of Assembly, a request he honoured. Yet, according to Amba, he subsequently witnessed the governor and his associates allegedly mocking him, suggesting that he had a price and had been compensated. More importantly, the governor reportedly failed to consider the names he had submitted. In his response, Amba maintained that whatever the governor was now seeking from him had come too late. He reiterated that he had already established a committed partnership with the PDP in good faith, without gimmicks or political manipulation. He also reaffirmed his commitment to delivering President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Kwara State while giving his full support to the Rainbow Coalition. Amba further maintained that any attempt to alter the existing political arrangement would require the governor to engage with all members of the G15 and its leadership. He also made it unequivocally clear that he would never raise the hand of the governor’s preferred candidate, Yakubu Danladi, in support of his candidacy. The governor reportedly attempted to persuade Amba to take photographs with him, but Amba firmly declined. According to this account, that explains why no photographs of the meeting emerged. Any account that contradicts these details should be treated with caution, as it may be misleading. As presented in this account, Amba’s political commitment remains firmly centred on supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu while backing all PDP candidates in Kwara State. Thank you, Omo Ekun!

Scores of APC members have defected to the PDP in Kwara South, citing a lack of leadership foresight, innovative ideas, and the persistent misgovernance of the @RealAARahman-led APC government. The former APC members pledged their unwavering loyalty to the entire PDP leadership and Dr. Saraki, whose political instincts and vision for growth and development they described as unparalleled. They also urged party members and supporters to vote for all PDP candidates in the forthcoming elections. #VotePDP #SupportPDP
