โWildwoodโ director Travis Knight calls AI an โamazing piece of technologyโ but says, โIโm not embracing it at all.โ
โI see technology as a tool, and we use technology at Laika. A pencil is technology, a paintbrush is technology, a 3D printer is technology. Technology is useful when you put it in the hands of people, when you put it in the hands of artists who can amplify their voice."
โTechnology is not useful when it takes the place of the artist, and thatโs the concern with generative AI,โ he continued. โItโs an amazing piece of technology, but the concern is that when it supplants the artist, then we have an issue because the computer cannot speak about humanity at all. It doesnโt know what it feels like.โ

I worked on Agatha All Along as one of the witches Agatha killed during her montage and when I was in hair and makeup , Jac came into the trailer as I was getting my tattoos covered and THANKED ME, a random person who she doesnโt know from Adam, for being on her project and just chatted for a bit about the project (without giving me too many spoilers bc duh lol) and Marvel itself.. For the rest of that day, in between takes (whenever I could see her), I saw Jac work with SUCH conviction, joy, and passion. Same for everyone else on crew that night in that woods.
My point is, Jac Schaeffer is a one of kind type of talent. Sheโs real, sheโs passionate, she is genuine.
Stop dismissing people and their work before theyโve even had an opportunity to show you what they are capable of. WandaVision and Agatha All Along were nothing short of Phenomenal under Jac and Iโm honored to have been part of that. And I know that sheโs going to drop some jaws and shut some of this noise up in her new project. Wishing her nothing but the best โจโค๏ธ
EXCLUSIVE: "WandaVision" creator Jac Schaeffer is developing a new "Stargate" TV series for Amazon MGM Studios.
This will be Amazon's second attempt at a new "Stargate" series. It was previously reported that Martin Gero was working on a new TV entry in the sci-fi franchise, but that project ultimately did not move forward.

A few months ago you were demanding Amazon make Stargate and now they start developing a new show and you pre-hate it.
You can never win with anti-fandom. It's just an endless journey from one outrage to another.
The blue check chuds and wOkE haters in the comments canโt stop me from being excited about this.
Wandavision and Agatha All Along were incredible and I canโt wait to see what she does with Stargate.

The Paramount/Warner Brothers merger seems facially illegal, and the state AG lawsuit challenging it is very strong.
Itโs troubling to hear that the states may now settle for behavioral remedies, allowing the deal to go through subject to various promises from the firms. Behavioral remedies routinely fail, and the stakes here are particularly high given that a strong democracy requires open markets for sound journalism and creative expression.
The states were right to step up, and I hope they keep fighting to protect this market, its workers, and the millions of Americans who value a free press and a vibrant film industry.

Funny part about the Mayor's campaign making rollcall a big issue is that Nithya Raman actually falls in the middle of her colleagues even while being at AQMD meetings.
Meanwhile, the Mayor missed nearly HALF (47%) & didn't show up to OVER HALF of her LAHSA (Homeless) Meetings.
