The horrific irony is that the Canadian government is sending "thoughts and prayers" after the remains of 215 Indigenous children were found at a residential school…all while continuing to fight residential school survivors in court.

Opening schools for TWO weeks does what? It increases the odds of a 4th surge, it puts teachers, who are not vaccinated or may have a one shot recently, at increased risk and ensures we have a driver of transmission before the government's surprising reasonable opening plan. 🙄🤨
Ontario's top doctor wants schools to reopen before step one, which is set to begin on the week of June 14th.
Monday, May 31 would mark two weeks before step one of the economic reopening — a date the CMOH suggested would be a good one.
