Epic kinda screwed themselves this season if you think about it; > Everyone is getting burnt out of Fortnite > More people will quit in frustration and switch to GTA > Ch8 launch/Winterfest will practically be ruined for everyone who doesn’t find the token What was the point
What are yalls thoughts on the Pirate Access Token being less rare than Gold Asap Rocky? #Fortnite

Thought it's worth mentioning, "Jonesy" is Jones' canonical nickname! Slone even addressed him by that name last season. So, no, whenever Fortnite addressed Jones as "Jonesy" they weren't calling him by the wrong name, they were calling him by his nickname.

Season 1 and parts of Season 2 genuinely don’t feel like they even happened if that makes sense. 3 and 4 were so vastly different mostly for the worst that I can’t even believe that this is the same chapter
Hearing this theme for the first time after witnessing the PEAK Zero Hour live event, was a such a different vibe 🥲Why does this song already feel so nostalgic?? 😭🥹 I will personally miss Chapter 7 a lot🫡💙Can't believe it's already about to end...

When a car goes 25 mph nobody cares. That’s what it was designed to do. When a human being runs 25 mph, it’s an accomplishment because a HUMAN BEING achieved it. Nobody gives a shit if a machine spits out the code, art, and animations and creates a game. The reason games are successful comes from people experiencing the developer’s own vision. It’s not just about the product and the profit, it’s about seeing people’s ideas come to life through their own work. Here’s a hard-to-swallow pill for people who support AI: Having dreams and ideas is not actually impressive, everybody has them. It’s putting in the effort yourself to make them happen that makes it impressive, and if you think people will still appreciate that when you used an AI to do the hard work for you then you clearly don’t know what it means to truly create.

Fortnite is genuinely a once in a lifetime game with how big it is and long how it’s lasted, alongside just how much shit has collabed with it. That being said it’s so fucking depressing seeing it be ran into the ground by a delusional CEO and company.

Yea but lets not forget it wasnt just looks, it was concepts, we had shopping carts as vehicles, we had a grappler with a plunger attatched to it Cosmetics were remarkable cuz their looks were appealing and had good ideas, fortnites identity wasnt just the artstyle, it was ideas
Honestly, the people who liked the look of Fortnite from Chapter 5 through 7 are NOT real OGs, as far as I’m concerned. Fortnite is supposed to be vibrant wonk, cartoony, and have a unique aesthetic that’s how people recognize the game. THATS whats maked it FUN

Fortnite Chapter SEVEN MS1 - The Hunt Is On! Just a sort of map concept of an idea of what if next seasons map was a combination of some old locations from C2 - C4 + some collab locations as a C2S5 style mini season map. #Fortnite #FortniteArt

A U.S. congressman wants to change how we legally “own” video games. Rep. Ritchie Torres has announced plans to introduce the Power To The Players Act, a bill that would direct the FTC to create rules protecting consumers who buy video games. The proposal would give players three basic rights: >The right to own the games they purchase, rather than simply receiving a revocable license >The right to keep playing games after online servers are shut down, through an offline mode >The right to transfer or resell games they own Torres argues that if a company can take a game away simply by shutting down its servers, then the consumer didn’t really buy the game in the first place. Torres also hopes the legislation could eventually establish a precedent for ownership rights across other parts of the digital economy: “If you pay for it, you own it.”

you need to resign from epic games you are so disgustingly out of touch, it's beyond human comprehension how you've managed to reach this point you will never be better than valve, because you are the problem, you don't care for the players, you only care for your own interests

it's extremely upsetting to see the direction Fortnite is heading. people will tell you you're overreacting, but the reality is we are seeing a company and game we enjoy replacing human art, experience, and people's jobs in real time under the guise of "streamlining" workflows.
