You may know that we believe that our SPED services are among the best in the state. Here is some information you may NOT know about the USD 232 Special Education Services.
#DYKKansasKids #SpecialEducation #USD232SPED

ALT USD 232 Special Education spent $14.5 million on services, received $8.2 million to support services and had to transfer an additional $6.3 million to cover the difference between SPED funding received and funding needed.

ALT Eleven percent of students in USD 232 receive special education services. Students qualify to receive services under 13 different exceptionalities, including giftedness. USD 232 employs 310 specially trained staff members to provide SPED services and offers eight specialized programs for students with special education needs.
