Pedro Zamora died 30 years ago today. I’ve been thinking about this post for awhile, and I had hoped/assumed it would be a little more “celebratory.”
Despite losing him, I was assuming that we were entering a time of greater hope.

Imagine seeing Michael Jackson at Wembley in 1988 for roughly $30 at the time. Hearing “Smooth Criminal,” “Thriller,” “Billie Jean,” “Beat It,” “Bad,” and “Man in the Mirror” all in ONE NIGHT for that price. That ticket is a piece of music history.
