Trump on Iran: We still have to take care of, I would say, one or two sites, but we can do that in 10 minutes. Ten minutes. So we have that plan.

Report: Trump, Netanyahu spoke amid possibility of renewed strikes on Iran U.S. President Donald Trump spoke by phone with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday morning, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing people familiar with the call. The conversation took place as the United States prepares for the possibility of renewed strikes on Iran, as Washington coordinates with its Middle East ally. The Trump-Netanyahu call came just days after Trump met at the White House with U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) commander Adm. Brad Cooper to discuss possible military scenarios in the region, as previously reported by the newspaper. Meanwhile, speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a Halloween party at Mar-a-Lago, Trump said negotiations with Iran were “going fine,” but expressed doubts about Tehran’s reliability. “They are going fine. But, you know, like they're not very reliable. I will tell you. They make a deal and then they back out. I want to make a deal. We'll see if they make a deal,” Trump said. Trump also indicated that the United States was in no hurry to resume military action against Iran, saying, “We're not in that much of a hurry.” -KAN 11 News

JUST IN: Britain's Royal Navy and Royal Air Force are now “terrorist organizations” under Iranian law, per Iran's Foreign Ministry, acting on a ruling by Iran's Supreme National Security Council. The same statement lists MI6, Britain's foreign spy service, as a 'hostile group'. Under a 2025 Iranian law, 'intelligence activity, espionage, or operational action' for such a group carries the death penalty, per Radio Free Europe. Tehran says it is answering 2 British moves. One is letting the US use British bases against Iran. Britain says it allows only 'defensive' US missions from them, per the BBC. The other is London's 17th July listing of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps under its new state threats law, per the Home Office. Iran passed the law it used in 2019, against the United States. Since then it has been turned on Canada's navy in December 2025 and every European Union navy and air force in February. Britain has not responded so far.

🚨🇵🇱 BREAKING: FMR POLISH PM WARNS OF CIVIL WAR Poland’s pro-EU government attempted a JUDICIAL COUP yesterday on the Constitutional Tribunal, while the president was 35,000 ft in the air over Spain. I sat down with former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, a fierce opponent of Tusk who spent hours at the Tribunal speaking out against this unprecedented assault on Polish democracy. “We sit on a barrel of powder. It can escalate very, very strongly over the next days and weeks...” Tusk waited until President Nawrocki left for Senegal, then went in. The play: pack the Tribunal with loyalist judges, bypass the presidential veto, and rewrite Poland’s legal system without a constitutional majority. Morawiecki calls it a brazen power grab, one with no parallel in post-1989 European history. Patriots have been holding the line outside the Tribunal ever since, with a massive police presence still there. But this is also much bigger than Poland… Romania annulled a presidential election and jailed its winner. Hungary retroactively rewrote its constitution to block Orban. France upheld Marine Le Pen’s conviction and put her in an ankle tag. Germany labeled its biggest opposition party an "extremist organization." The pattern, Morawiecki says, is the same everywhere: when the left faces losing power, the institutions move. “Wherever the leftists are endangered, they attack.” Four major elections are coming next year across Europe: France, Italy, Spain, Poland. If the right wins those elections, the Commission loses control. That, he says, is exactly what they’re trying to prevent. And so Poland becomes the latest flashpoint in an anti-democratic fire burning across the continent. I hope, I truly do, that this does NOT descend into a civil war, as the former prime minister fears... @MorawieckiM

Sadam Hussein could never do this.
🇮🇷 🇺🇸 Iran’s supreme leader just dropped every geographic limit on its war targets... and sinking US Navy ships is still on the menu. Mojtaba Khamenei ordered the military to answer any new attack immediately and without geographical limits, and to update its target lists. Tehran University professor Seyed Mohammad Marandi says Iran is still sitting on options it never used in the last round: “There’s no doubt that Iran can sink those ships.” Holding back was a choice, so if the war restarts, the US fleet in the Gulf is the first place that choice could change. @s_m_marandi

When I set out from Las Vegas on the long trip that became Homesick, my next book (link in pinned tweet), I needed a stepping stone, a place to start. It so happened that there was one next door. Hoover Dam, the otherworldly monolith built to astonish explorers we'll never meet.

Two horrible candidates. Why do we get stuck with these choices?
🚨🚨🚨 TEXAS IS ON THE BRINK OF A POLITICAL SHOCKWAVE. James Talarico just surged to a NEW HIGH — 70% odds to beat Ken Paxton and flip this Senate seat BLUE. This isn’t theoretical anymore. This is winnable. 3 days. Run through the tape. VOTE. 🔥💙 #BlueWaveIn3Days
