Even in the wake of all the incredible wins yesterday I’m having a hard time believing this is real. No mayor is a miracle worker but this is an extraordinary moment of hope for LA ✊

Several figures here aren’t federal results or NY-specific. The $472B combines US wide pledges: Micron's $250B is nationwide (NY site $100B) Anthropic's $50B covers TX and NY. The 48% murder drop is from NY's state run GIVE program (28 departments, Jan – May 2026). arkolith.com/news/news-micr… therepublic.com/?p=843020 governor.ny.gov/news/safer-str…

Everyone is getting music recs from front facing camera liberal arts undergrads, but you need to be getting music recs from very mean Gen X record store owners, bartenders who drink too much on the job, and people who write for Bandcamp Daily

let's be ambitious. Presidio is already amazing. It could be the most beautiful, iconic waterfront in the world. What should we build?

LA is HOT. But does it have to be this hot? Did you know shade from a single tree can drop temps by 20° or more? Yet working-class neighborhoods like South LA, East LA, and the Valley get the least tree coverage and bear the brunt of extreme heat. Let's change that and finally cool things down for everyone.
