I personally like MOST of the copy dudes who have courses out there so I won't call anyone out, but...
...in the last 2 years, I can't count how many writers I've DMed with who say they need help getting clients.
I push for details, & they say they are in [popular copy course] already.
I ask what they are doing.
They say they are studying copy, hand-copying promos, and "making sure they have value to offer a client."
I ask about making money.
They say either A) "the course just says to get an Upwork profile", B) "offer to work for free to get testimonials", or C) "I've only been in it a few months so we haven't gotten that far yet".
These programs aren't building careers.
They're building hobbyists.
And they're loaded with homework because it justifies the price ("Look at all these training modules we have!").
After 15+ years as a freelance copywriter, here are the facts:
1. Clients care far less about your portfolio than you think.
2. You don't need to "craft a perfect offer".
3. You will never know how to serve clients until you DO IT and learn on the job, so you might as well get started.
4. You could literally be a paid writer in a week or two if you just went out and offered your services directly.
Do you want a career?
Or a hobby?

You chose to focus on the ugly side of Zim
Well, here's the other side of Zim that won't make it to the media

Guys I built my 15+ year career by emailing companies and saying "Hey I'm a copywriter, you need copy?"

It's everyone's excuse.
I've built a six-figure/year career without even a website, guys. Just a shared Google Drive folder.

Thank you for your insight. I've been using not having a strong social media as an excuse not to outreach
Thanks a lot @MeitnerTom

Yes, email them. That's literally all I talk about on here.

Can I start outreaching via email only.
Would you recommend someone without social media presence to outreach via email @MeitnerTom

value-based headline
copy that gets them excited to read and learn more about the offer
picture of offer/something related to it
objection handled in the subheading
heading that plays to the experience/authority you have
copy that talks about the power of this unique mechanism and a glimpse of your story
CTA
____________________
3-5 main benefits shown with icons and a quick sentence or two explaining it
____________________
about me section that talks more about your experience, story, and goals you have
____________________

Conclusion:
Ta-da! You did it!
Focus on the benefits of your offer over the features.
Make sure you have a great understanding of your ideal customer so you can angle every headline, word, and image toward pushing them into your offer.
