The reasons so many liberals like Lula is because he’s safe enough to the social democrats in Europe and the West. Also because Brazil’s right-wing congress is going to be opposing him at every turn. People shouldn’t place their ideals on Lula. Though he started more radically, he’s not a revolutionary and never was to begin with. But in LATAM the choice is between that and a paramilitary fascism. If you don’t understand this and that it is not the United States your analysis is moot. It’s not Trump vs Biden here, so don’t look at it that way. A Lula victory didn’t erase his bad policies on Haiti or Venezuela but it does put a damper on the Donroe Doctrine of Epstein takeover of Latin America, full of Zionism and total Milei-style destruction. Brazil is the largest economy in Latin America. The aim was to hand it to Bolsonaro so the Epstein regime could reign in totality. For now, that’s not going to be the case. It doesn’t erase Lula’s failures but it does hold off a complete take over. What many Western leftists don’t grasp is that in countries like Brazil, where some people don’t have power, water access, roads and basic needs met, sometimes the ideals of many who live in the west fall flat, especially the ones in the US. We can’t even elect milquetoast candidates like Lula and then lecture Brazilians about politics and judge Venezuela so harshly. We all see what’s happening in Latin America. But please go live there for a week, without luxuries and tell me how your ideas do when you’re constantly under interventions, sanctions, impoverished, and dealing with not having enough food or water. Until western leftists realize their ideals don’t measure up to realities people face, they’re never going to get people on their side. Liberalism isn’t the answer, it’s the opening to fascism. But there needs to be a strong anti imperial core that is compassionate and understanding of where people are—and that’s lacking. The average person cares about their jobs, children and food on the table, not about historical references to revolutions that have little to do with their material conditions. This doesn’t mean you don’t work toward that via education and conversation. But people need to be ready. If they’re not all the effort in the world won’t change their mind. It’s especially obnoxious to be lectured by western leftists who have never endured many of the hardships these people face every day and parachute on social media with arrogant analysis of how this win isn’t such a big deal. It is for those who depend on social programs, for those who want sovereignty and food on the table. If you want to erase capitalism start by understanding you can’t do it electorally when the world runs on it including supposed communist countries. Let’s be for real here.

They’re all closet imperialist.
James Talarico on Ukraine: We need to strengthen Ukraine. We need to strengthen our NATO allies as they stand up to Russian aggression so we don't have to. In some ways, I see this as a cost-saving measure. If we can stop this aggression, if we can stop Putin in Ukraine, then we're not going to have to stop him elsewhere.

Israel did not just let it happen. Hamas did deceive them. Many of you bought into Zionist narratives. Here is why: After Al-Aqsa Flood, most ex post facto discussionsabout the military operation spearheaded by Hamas on 7 October 2023 have centered on the apparent intelligence failures of Israel’s security apparatus. A number of these discussions have lamented what, in hindsight, appear to be indicators that Israeli security and intelligence apparatuses should have anticipated the operation. Such discussions have prompted some commentators to speculate that Israel INTENTIONALLY ALLOWED the operation to take place so as to justify a genocidal response. These judgments, however, belie several critical facets informing the pre-7 October 2023 state of affairs. Foremost among these is Israel’s colonial hubris, which led it to believe that it had effectively contained and neutralized Hamas within Gaza. More importantly, such assessments also sideline the Palestinian resistance’s years-long gambit of “strategic camouflage.” In other words: Hamas may have deliberately feigned containment in order to disguise its military preparations. A second crucial factor in this strategy was the hiding of military training exercises in plain sight, carrying them out in the open in the Gaza Strip. Witness accounts attest to how, in the years prior to Al-Aqsa Flood, head of Hamas in Gaza since 2017 Yahya Sinwar – killed in combat with Israel in 2024 – clandestinely pursued what has been deemed a camouflage strategy. Sinwar’s secrecy permeated even the ranks of the resistance itself. There are indications that Hamas’ political bureau, based outside Gaza, did not possess foreknowledge of the time, place or scale of the operation. Senior political leader Mousa Abu Marzouk has said that they had no prior knowledge of the plan, tellingThe New Yorker in October 2023 that “all of Hamas’ leaders who are not military ones received the news early Saturday morning” – on the morning of 7 October 2023 itself. Reviewing what is known of the resistance’s antecedent preparations, we see that it pursued a dual program of clandestine operations and feigned containment to shape the enemy’s expectations. To quote intelligence analyst Cynthia Grabo, “the most successful of all deception plans and operations are those which capitalize on and actively encourage the enemy to believe his own preconceptions.” By focusing on why 7 October 2023 was an operational success for the resistance rather than solely homing in on how it was an intelligence failure for Israel, we can better account for the full breadth of the resistance’s camouflage strategy – one that, the historical record demonstrates, was years in the making. electronicintifada.net/conte…

Business > war, that’s the name of the game. When that happens the rest of society becomes useful to an end. It doesn’t matter if it’s China or the US. Sure one is a great evil, the other uses soft power. But when the most powerful have common goals, nation states matter less.
The guest list for Trump's dinner with Chinese President Xi included a who's who of Big Technocrats, Banksters, and Zionists. Here's a partial list: Miriam Adelson Elon Musk Mark Zuckerberg, chief executive of Meta Sergey Brin, co-founder of Google Satya Nadella, chief executive of Microsoft Sundar Pichai, chief executive of Google Jensen Huang, Nvidia chief executive Tim Cook, executive chairman of Apple John F. W. Rogers, executive vice president of Goldman Sachs Larry Fink, chief executive of Blackrock Stephen Schwarzman, chief executive of Blackstone Sam Altman, chief executive of OpenAI Jeff Bezos, Amazon chairman Jeff Yass, Zionist investor Jamie Dimon, chief executive of JPMorgan Chase David Ellison, chief executive of Paramount Skydance Albert Bourla, chief executive of Pfizer

Both sides are participating in propaganda. #Russia is far from a failed state, but they didn't anticipate a prolonged drone battle with #Ukraine. Now #Trump and #Putin are having a serious phone call, and you think that THIS time it's going to be different? Come on, people.

Seriously .@RT_com ? In all my information wars with Zionist media, @BBC I was never blocked? Is this a joke? You can't handle opinions that you don't agree with? This is juvenile behaviour for a state media outlet, you know that right? Hilarious.

I have secured the last few ingredients I need for bolognese. I needed fresh garlic. It won't be as good as if @CJardula or the Big Ragu, (@KyleAnzalone_) cooked it. But alas, I gotta up my game, Pasta talks about it too much for me not to know how to make it properly. ;)
