An American professor asked when China last voted.
Answer: right now. A billion people are choosing 2.6 million local representatives.
He blocked me after I replied.

I would go so far as to call China's meritocracy a genuine democracy, and that what we in the West call 'democracy' is nothing more than a farcical publicity stunt designed to secure the true hidden power behind a smokescreen of superficiality. Sound and fury signifying nothing.

China has avoided alliances, but what the United States is doing to Iran and Palestine leaves Beijing little choice. The Dengists are losing internally and this is giving way to a whole new wave of Maoists inside the Chinese political system. They are young, (fashionable,) and they are done with trying to appease US imperialism.
Kyoto University Symposium 2026: "Geopolitics in the Time of Monsters"
Presentation 8: Sheng Zhang
Sheng Zhang examines the competing traditions shaping China’s Middle East policy, contrasting Maoist solidarity with Dengist economic priorities. Using Palestine and Iran, he explores Beijing’s political commitments, trade relationships, public opinion and diplomatic constraints. He argues that regional conflict is challenging China’s balancing strategy and strengthening Iran’s strategic importance. The discussion considers boycotts, Gulf investment, energy security, generational differences and strategic patience, asking what might push Beijing toward a clearer position as regional power shifts and tensions with Washington deepen.

NEW: Cash App has severed ties with the 'I've Had It' Podcast after hosts Jennifer Welch and Angie Sullivan laughed uncontrollably at the thought of digging up Charlie Kirk's corpse and killing him again.
Cash App says they are no longer a sponsor of the show.
Just 20 minutes before the women cracked up at the thought of assassinating Charlie Kirk again, Welch had read an ad for Cash App.
Surprising anyone would want to sponsor this show in the first place.

Not only are China's Private Enterprises incredibly well subsidised by China's State Owned Enterprises; its POEs increasingly operate *like* SOEs - like singular all-in-one units (free from competition/exchange)
China's PoEs are progressing towards being 1 giant, integrated SoE
Some of China’s most successful tech firms are renowned for their aggressive vertical integration: BYD, DJI, Unitree.
But it’s not just about costs. It’s also about greater performance and efficiency through customization and co-design.

Guessing this is Tommy Robinson. In 2024 Jim Dowson confirmed he was approached by MI5 and told to 'stay out of Robinson's business in the late 2010's.
At that point Robinson was instrumental in providing finance and support to start up far right actors in Ireland.
BREAKING 🚨: MI5 have confirmed that a high profile “RIGHT WING” activist has been working for them under cover and they have even lied to multiple courts to try cover it up.
The high court ruled that it wouldn’t be in the public interest to bring contempt proceedings against MI5.
This individual was known to the MI5 as “Agent X”

西方民主只不过是在一群演员中选出演技最好的演员。西方民主制度的两大漏洞:1.只在选演员的过程中民主,而不是在具体决策中民主,2.智者和傻逼的投票权平等,而且傻逼在人数上有绝对优势
Amazing what having the right connections in RTE can do for you.

I want a candidate who doesn’t alienate Black and working class people. Look at how badly he performed with them. It’s going to be very, very difficult for him to win. Stevens would have had a much clearer path. A “Democrats for Rogers” organisation has already been formed.

Former President of the UN Security Council Kishore Mahbubani:
'In 1990, when economists first predicted the coming collapse of the Chinese economy, China's GNP was $360 billion.
A few months ago, economists again came out with stories claiming that China's economic growth was over. By then, its economy had grown to $18 trillion, a 50-fold increase.
After 30 years of predictions about China's coming collapse, why do I emphasise this? China's rise is unstoppable, and it is not driven by you or me. It is driven by 1.4 billion Chinese people.'
Prof. James Galbraith on China’s🇨🇳 FORMIDABLE economic power:
‘China, even in the Mao period, was effectively decentralised. It had a broad base of industrialisation, which was done for national security reasons. It is an extremely decentralised economy, with a vast number of domestic firms.
China operates independently of the Western-dominated global financial system. It runs its own finances behind an effective regime of capital controls. When you combine that with a vast internal market, the world market on top of the internal market, and a vast capacity to innovate in engineering, to develop things very quickly and to take advantage of lower unit costs, then you get what you observe in China today.
The number of automobile companies is enormous. I don’t even know how many there are. Fewer than there were 30 years ago, actually, but they operate at scale and they produce very high-quality and very low-cost equipment. This is a formidable competitor for anything else on the world scene. That’s the way increasing returns and declining costs and technological dynamism operate in the world.’

China in early stages of preparations to launch the first Long March 10A with the new Mengzhou crew spacecraft. A huge stepping stone towards a crewed lunar landing attempt before 2030.

Before 2030. Two Chinese taikonauts on the Moon.
Wang Xiang, chief designer of China's lunar exploration program, laid out how at the 7th Manned Space Symposium in Beijing on Saturday:
> two Long March-10 rockets
> the Lanyue lander goes first, into lunar orbit
> the Mengzhou crew ship follows and docks with it
> crew of three, two go down to the surface
> lander climbs back, docks again, Mengzhou brings them home
The Long March 10B already flew its maiden mission on 10 July.
Wang said the approach fits China's existing capabilities, and that the nationwide system for mobilising resources is the fundamental advantage.
Washington still bars NASA from working with China under the Wolf Amendment. Fine.
China goes anyway.
My bet: the first footprints on the Moon this century will be Chinese.

It's "Russia's war in Ukraine"
But never the "US/Israeli war in Iran"
Nope that doesn't suit the PR, so it's "crisis in the Middle East".
The EU is complicit and has no moral standing.
Russia’s war in Ukraine and the crisis in the Middle East pose major threats to energy and food supplies, trade and freedom of navigation.
Maritime routes are global lifelines.
At the G20 Foreign Ministers’ meeting in Atlanta, I called for a Black Sea freedom of navigation arrangement and reaffirmed the EU’s opposition to tolls and fees on international shipping routes.

It has always been the same.

You conclude.
The only thing that changes across centuries and continents is who’s being pointed at.
