Not just for this but I’d really like the Dems to win the midterms.
House Judiciary Democrats have just released a 50-page report that pulls together years of assault allegations against Trump and his reported connections to Jeffrey Epstein.
The report calls for a special counsel to investigate Trump's ties to Epstein. ms.now/news/house-judiciary-…

Quite a chronology in the FT.
In May, Putin’s associate Umar Kremlev paid for Donald Trump Jr’s wedding party in the Caribbean.
In August, Trump Jr went to hunt endangered species with Kremlev in Mongolia. He also allegedly auctioned access to the trip for $225,000.
In September, Propublica broke the wedding reception story.

Elon Musk has spent more money on American elections in the last two years than George Soros has in his entire life.
OSSOFF: If you’re late with your rent, the machinery of late fees and eviction is very efficient. But when you tell your landlord about the black mold in your daughter’s bedroom, nobody comes for four months. And then, when you’ve got to take her to the hospital for her asthma attack, you get a $3,000 bill for the ambulance.
Life was already hard enough before Donald Trump lied us into war, before his tariffs made everything more expensive, and before he doubled your health insurance premiums and slashed Medicaid.
It costs more today than ever before in American history to fill up your truck, to stock your fridge, to power your home, to go to the doctor.
Meanwhile, and you’ve seen it, the president and the first family line their pockets to the tune of billions of dollars.
The time has come to wield the power granted to us by our Constitution and rebuke this obscenity.

The fact that Trump’s dwindling number of defenders think Obama making a joke about the Cheesecake Factory aesthetic is “elitist,” but that this statement is not, is a good window into why the Trump Administration is now the most unpopular in American history

At $500k a pop, Obama would have to give a speech every night for the next twelve years to match the $2.2 billion in openly corrupt income Trump pulled in in 2025 alone.

One of the stupidest flags I’ve ever seen there with Cam Skattebo called for unnecessary roughness for literally doing something RBs do several dozen times per game. He literally just ran low. Feels like a “reputation” flag and we see way too much of that in today’s game

This is why the 'just give in to the GOP on Voter ID' just does not work. They're not interested in securing our elections, only in disenfranchising Democratic constituencies.

This is fabulous reporting about the Trump family corruption, but I’m sorry why is the story being broken as part of a book promo behind a Vanity Fair paywall? The news media is useless.
The GRU hacked into Jared Kushner's iPhone. Dutch military intelligence (MIVD) then recruited a GRU spy who gave them access to the hacked phone. What MIVD discovered was that Kushner had access to two bank accounts --one Azerbaijani, the other Israeli --where Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Emirati ruler Mohammed bin Zayed deposited money. It sounds like a slightly far-fetched episode of "Slow Horses," but it's real. And it proves just how eye-poppingly corrupt this administration was and continues to be as its "special envoy" decides the fate of tens of millions in Europe in the Middle East. Simply incredible reporting by Matthew Cole, drawn from his new book on Kushner. vanityfair.com/story/jared-k…

Absolutely wild scoop in here from @joevardon, who reports that in September MSG sent Knicks employees an email showing two styles of a “championship ring” and asking them to reserve one—as a phishing test! Anyone who clicked had to take a cybersecurity class.

The spike next year was baked into the OBBB Republicans passed in 2025. They backloaded the shitty parts of it until AFTER the midterms but front loaded the debt and deficit exploding tax cuts. Would be helpful if you, you know, did journalism and explained that basic fact.
Premiums are expected to skyrocket for the fourth year in a row, and employees will likely pay more when they receive care, too. The increased costs will put an additional squeeze on Americans' already-tight budgets, adding to the nation's affordability crisis. cnn.it/488Apxi
