On the evening of the 28th October I had the honour of having an interactive discussion with the D9213 Rotaract Cluster 4 leadership on how to keep going in our quest for Service Above Self regardless of the odds against us.
It was a great evening at the Rotary Club of Buwaate as we shared on what can economically empower our youth. We have such a deep pool of youthful energy to tap into.

A child’s bed should hold dreams for tomorrow, not a little body burning with fever. No parent should have to watch helplessly as malaria threatens the life of someone they love.
We can change this story.
@Rotary in Uganda is rallying support to raise Sh2 billion for malaria prevention and treatment across Uganda. Every contribution can help protect a life and bring hope to another family.
Let us turn compassion into action.
Together, we can fight malaria.

No parent should watch their child lose the ability to walk from a disease we can prevent. No child should pay the price for a missed vaccination.
For decades, @Rotary has stood at the forefront of the fight to end polio. From our cities to our most remote villages, we must keep going until every child is protected.
Today on this #WorldPolioDay, let us unite for a polio-free world.
One child. One vaccine. One promise.

The fight to End Polio is not over.
Polio may be close to becoming history, but the mission is not complete. Every child deserves a future free from polio. Let’s keep vaccinating, keep advocating and keep pushing until polio is eradicated everywhere. 💉🌍
