I'm sure I just spotted the tail end of a meteor to the east of Lincoln, looking east. Wasn't paying attention to the sky to but turned around and saw 'bits' moving quickly before they faded. – at Reepham, England

'Tis the season for severe thunderstorms and tornadoes around the Med.
Video incredibile di Rosalba Pipitone, sempre da Marsala. Questo potrebbe essere il tornado siciliano più intenso da diversi decenni, ci sono auto scaraventate in giro. Seguiranno aggiornamenti

Using @DTNWeather #WeatherHub, the cell attributes/cell tracking system shows up the risk of hail and gusty winds with the cell near Henley, as well as the expected cell motion over the near hour.

Both these cells have the chance of producing hail 2-3cms diameter, as well as a tornado. A funnel cloud has been reported from Gloucestershire recently, which may have been a tornado. Please let us know if you hear of anything. Thanks, Paul.

Some of the cells in the south have the chance of producing a tornado. The one near Henley is meaty. Had some modest low-level rotation as it passed over Reading a bit earlier. – at Shinfield, England
