EMS was treating him after he collapsed in his yard.
"All of a sudden a cop shows up, shoves everyone out the way, and jumps on top of him," brother said.
The officer has only been identified as Sgt. Price with the Chattahoochee Police Department.
He claims he was just trying to assist EMS with a "combative individual" and encountered "physical resistance."
Dwight Jackson is the man attacked by the cop.
He says was not intentionally combativeβwas defenseless and only experiencing a medical emergency.

Independent photojournalist Angel Perez was tackled, handcuffed, and detained while covering demonstrations near the Metropolitan Detention Center.
Video shows officers at a No Kings protest chasing him and forcing him to the ground while other journalists identify him as press.
Perez said he followed instructions to move onto the sidewalk and repeatedly identified himself as a journalist. He suffered injuries and damaged equipment before he was released without being processed after 2 hours.
This isn't an isolated incident. There's a growing trend of law enforcement using aggressive tactics, kettling, and physical pushes against journalists during protests in the US.
