🚨 It's crazy that the NHS has told 350 doctors training in anaesthesia that the NHS has no job for them after 3 years training.
At the same time we have massive shortages of, you guessed it, anaesthetists. These self-defeating bottlenecks defy logic. Statement from @RCoANews

The Home Secretary is right: no one should make offensive flippant analogies with 1930s Germany, the Holocaust & ensuing refugee crisis. So why did Suella Braverman do just that in her Daily Mail article? See “Pouring” Exhibit A, 1930s v Exhibit B, 2023 #GaryLineker @GaryLineker

Too often, we label individuals as "lazy" or "unmotivated" because of their disloyalty to their job. Instead, we need to be looking toward their leadership. Without supportive leadership, we cannot expect employees to be dedicated to furthering the cause of their work.

Self isolation, Test & trace work well when the daily case count is fairly low. But they scale very poorly
You cant have a functioning society with 100-200k people being asked to self isolate every day
The govt has to either control spread with NPIs or relax isolation rules

Skills like effective confrontation, empathy, and patience are not soft skills. They are human skills, and they must be learned. Organizations often overlook their best internal leaders because they don't place enough value on these crucial interpersonal qualities.

Three lads who were brilliant all summer had the courage to step up & take a pen when the stakes were high. They deserve support & backing not the vile racist abuse they’ve had since last night. If you abuse anyone on social media you’re not an @England fan and we don’t want you.

When England’s players took the knee last night, I was pleased to hear loud applause drown out a few boos.
Then our black stars get horrifically racially abused after the game.
This is why they take the knee.
This is why I support them in taking the knee.

Cab ride across London during extra time - pubs exploding, horns sounding. For an England team who took the knee, wear rainbow armbands, campaign against child poverty. It feels like a cultural game-changer on the same scale as The Beatles.
