I'm as big of a hater of the yellow line rule as they come but I do think superspeedways need to make dedicated emergency lanes far away from the racing surface before getting rid of it. There's always someone with a flat tire doing 120 mph off the pace and they have to run right on the apron next to the track because there's no better spot. NASCAR cars are so safe now the only chance for a serious injury is someone hitting a slow car on the apron at full speed
On the final lap of Sunday's #NASCAR Cup Series YellaWood 500 at Talladega, NASCAR chose not to penalize Kyle Larson, Ross Chastain, and Austin Hill for advancing their positions below the yellow line. After the race, NASCAR gave an interpretation of the yellow line rule, which is vastly different than how the rule has been implemented in the past. The consistently inconsistent yellow line ruling has done nothing but distract from great finishes over the years and stir up unnecessary controversy. That being said, do we even really need the yellow-line rule anymore? Toby's Take On SI: si.com/onsi/racing-america/n…

In an effort to offer positive suggestions....Speedway races should be called with one crew chief with a radio, clipboard and a calculator. No engineers, no internet, cell blockers up. No way the racing won't be improved. Also saves money and time on this stupid ass races.

Something that keeps catching my eye is the Dodge Ram decal package. When the truck was revealed, the front end featured a nice, realistic looking design to match the production variant (as other NASCAR OEMs have) But RAM has ran what looks like a vector-drawn headlight.

the reason the next gen car sucks isn't because of the racing quality or how it drives. it's exclusively because it doesn't crash well. this accident has zero aura
On this day, this was the biggest modern NASCAR wreck which involved 28 cars during the 2024 YellaWood 500.

I have lived on a farm for over 24 years. We have 26 tractors on-property, most of them older than what's in the video, but still comparable. Safe to say we've got them up and going a time or two. That said, HOW THE HELL DO YOU GET LOOSE ON A JOHN DEERE MODEL 60
More than a dozen people were injured when a tractor pulling a hayride overturned in upstate New York, authorities said. abcnews.link/n61Afzk
