So tomorrow there's so BIG news coming down the line 🗞️
Another model drop?
No 🚫
Something bigger:
A change to the dev world and how we work, store, share our work.
ARE YOU READY?!?!?
Hint: it has to do with @EntireHQ
And Marvin has been all tuned up and he's ready to work 🤖
So I was today years old when I realized that you don’t just have to turn on Exit node on your Tailscale network.
You actually have to go into the admin panel and edit the routing for the node.
Now when I’m out I won’t have to choose between the net or my agents. Nice 😎
well after a nice morning dog walk where we saw a horse and my dog kinda freaked a little bit,
I've been going at Claude pretty hard. So hard I forgot to check my twitter notifications until like 2 pm.
This is how a reset is supposed to feel.
Yes please. Yes to all of this.
brb I'm going to rebuild a bunch of my apps.
Didn't know I needed this until now
I'm ready to do it with Duet
Claude style
Research preview, sign up if you want. Pro & max plans only for now.
Happy 🎈 day Mr Alfred Nobel
The ultimate Libra, almost nobody remembers you invented TNT.
But you legacy of peace & scientific endeavors endures.
Hey 👻 Al, check my profile I got you balloons 🎂
Well I've done it. In just over 3 days I have eaten through 97% of my weekly Claude sub.
It was not easy!
And now tomorrow, for my b day I'm going to hit that sweet reset and watch my meter go to full.
A bunch more Opus 5.5, you guys you shouldn't have 🥹
so i decided to take Sol 6.1 on high for a spin today on a normal not complex app. And wow did it suck!!!
It's like you run this thing on max/ultra or you should have just used Luna 👌🏻
It's just, not a good coding model. Like at all for me.
Hey Dwayne has some openings for dev work. Guy has tons of experience and is totally up on the latest AI.
So if you or someone you know has a project they need done, hit Dwayne up 📲
He makes really cool stuff, hit him up!!!
I've got 4 weeks to find my next opportunity, with one of my current contracts unexpectedly coming to an end in November. I'd anticipated it continuing well into 2027, but unfortunately, budget cuts have brought that forward.
So, I'm putting the feelers out. If you or anyone you know is looking for an experienced full-stack dev who knows how to build things, solve problems and ship fast, I'd love to hear what's going.
I've got 18+ years of experience across the stack, and I'm equally comfortable jumping into an existing codebase or building something from scratch. Open minded to all kinds of opportunities that keep my brain busy.
In the interim, I continue to ship, like my bushfire modelling and prediction platform embercast.pages.dev/ which takes multiple data sources and lets you predict fire spread, control lines and even replay historical fires on the map to see how they spread.
I've been working on a new thing!
It's a cli that uses other clis, basically you can use Jev (or OAI decisions, or CF's Clef/flash) to make calls either codex cli or claude code.
Using decisions instead of burning expensive reasoning tokens.
npmjs.com/package/dev-orches…
version 0.5.0 will include cli/tui DX upgrades.
It's not the best looking cli at all, but it does work.
Also you can use OpenRouter, Vercel AI, or Cloudflare as the providers.
And it's got @varlockdev so all you keys don't go flapping in the breeze 💨
Hey look, I'm not the only one that noticed that women's healthcare is like AT LEAST 50+ years behind men's and the rest of medicine.
Cool, great! Does this mean there's actually going to be funding for it though?!?!?!?!
Because when you factor, its currently less than 1%
President Trump on Monday signed an executive order creating a women's health division within the National Institutes of Health and a White House Women's Health Task Force. cbsn.ws/4ipUnJT
I'm not sure I can go back to existing in a world where i don't use sub agents.
Unless were just updating npm packages, but even then it's so much faster.
IDK are you all using sub agents on the reg?
Sunday is a perfectly fine day to dust off my 🦀 shoes and build my first Tauri app.
Ahh the magic of rust. It has been great so far too!
Way faster than an electron app
Wow sounds and they're nice, AND they're free and open source.
It's got all the things 🎉
